Any major differences between 2016-2019 1LT cars?

Android auto for the 2016's came out later and dealers would do free upgrades to the infotainment on the 2016.....then after a while they started charging for the upgrade. You may want to check to see if the 2016 model that you are interested in has android auto and if doesn't if the update is still available through the dealerships....if that is something that interests you.

I’d say go used with warranty. I was in the same boat last month and thought I was leaning towards a new C7 with the price drops. I actually wound up getting a CPO Z06 with 9k miles for a great price. Hard to beat the prices on these slightly used cars after the original owner takes the depreciation hit.

The article says the 2016 Corvette has Apple Car Play, but does not have the wireless feature of it. Best to check the car out in person to see if you can connect to Apple Car Play.....wired/wirelessly.
Good luck with your purchase.

Yeah, there is (a significant difference), the pre-2019s are more apt to be used... before you laugh, bear in mind that used cars are always risky to a degree, but used sports/performance cars more so. I'd only consider used if I personally knew the owner very, very well. Also, it's a great time to buy new if you can find something you like in the daily shrinking offerings. But, to each his/her own. In any event, buy something, and ENJOY!

New is good with a good price. You get full warranty and the discounts eat up a good bit of the first year depreciation plus it’s not a used car and you know exactly how it’s been driven and maintained

Thanks for everyone’s input on this thread. I ended up going with a used 2016 1 owner 1Lt stingray with 12800 miles for 37K. The new ones were a great deal but I still couldn’t justify paying an extra 25% out the door for essentially a new version of the same car (With warranty). Can’t wait for the weather to warm up!

Good buy, think you made the right move, I was looking at buying a new C7 for the same price you looked or ordering a new C8, took the same route you did. Bought a 2016 LT1 with auto trans. is a CPO car with full year warranty plus drive train warranty, car had 11,800 on it when I bought it, has just turned 12,000. Didn't get in quite at your price but very close to it. The LT1 has pretty much anything I want in a sports car and acceleration and performance is more than I had expected. Gave 39k for it and figure if I decide to go with a C8, wait a year or two and see how good they turn out to be, by then won't have to pay list price, there will be a lot in them around new and used. Probably in a couple of years, can buy a low mileage C8 for around 50k or less instead of 70K, until then, enjoy my C7 and probably won't lose as much on it as I would have a buying a new one.

We were ready to grab one of the screaming deals on new C7s. Base w/ 7 spd for $47900 was what we planned. The I came across a used 2019 base w/ 7 spd for $43900 w/ 3800 miles. Couldn't pass that up. The only thing I know I would like would be memory seats so I could program my position and another w/ the seat fully back. Makes it so much easier to get in and out of. But I am slowly programming myself to do that manually.
