So mad at dealer!
Van Chevy in Scottsdale. First, please save me the "do it yourself" comments. Very capable, but time is hard to allocate. Car went in for an Oil change and Mag Ride Update. Picked the car up, DIC was not updated to reflect oil change, get home and checked the oil on the dry sump, oil is barely on the stick so about a quart low...WTF! Mag ride update, very happy. Last time I was there I had the roof gasket replaced and the idiots did not latch the roof, I caught that.
Going there in the morning to bitch and to have oil added. What should I demand? I plan on seeing the manager.

You should demand a quart of oil.

Did you do the proper procedure to to check the oil on dry sump engine? It will show lower after sitting for a while.

Ya, that sucks. The oil life monitor reset is fairly simple process. If your car has a dry sump, it sounds like they didn't let it sit long enough to verify the oil level. If not, that means they are even less aware of this rudimentary task (simple oil change).
Considering this is a dealership that continues to price Corvettes above MSRP. Why give them the service opportunity at all?

Since your; "time is hard to allocate?" I'd forget about it.
You should have checked the oil level before leaving the dealer's lot. Trust, but verify by checking the oil level and oil meter before leaving dealer's parking lot.

The proper level instructions are right under the CAP.Problem is are they gonna take the time to properly bring engine up to temp.If it is a teck?Probably not.Believe they work Flat Rate?
So if the Oil Change Lubrication Technician with his diploma from:
No Common Sense Institute.Your a hell of a lot better off being low than over.
If I was you I would go to another dealer or check your oil filter and drain plugs yourself.
Then simply leave them honest useless comments where and whenever you can.
Like for instance:Paul Masse Chevrolet E.Providence RI.Only services Corvettes they sell,THEY SUCK
Copeland Chevrolet,Brocton MA. Left my oil filter loose on my New Corvette. Then tried to blame me.
Simply Move on

This. But first, make sure it is actually low on oil. If so, perhaps mention to the service manager to have a talk to his oil change tech about proper procedures on a Corvette. Depending on his reaction, determine if you want them to work on your car again.

Op, Not trying to insult your intelligence but the dry sump engines have a procedure to follow when determining the proper oil level, this has been misunderstood by more than a few people

Its the oil change pit and the lube jockeys that never seem to figure out how to do these sorts of things properly.
Additionally, management is typically to stupid to just ask the techs exactly how much oil to use, and then inform the lube jockeys.

Simple, were you charged for an oil-change, or not? Did it look like it was "fresh" or not? Only after ascertaining such do you know how to act when you arrive.
However, In all sincerity from what you say, I cannot believe anyone in their right mind would return there... for anything. But, also as you said, that too is your call. Do so and live with it however it turns out, this time, and the next, and the next. Yet, all the best, at any rate.

I have to admit I would be less upset about a low fill than a high fill. I run my dry sump 1/2 way between the hash marks.
