Resale value on C7

Sure, you can bet on anything but you don't always win bets. Since you want a cheap C7 you might have a wee bit of incentive to encourage C7 owners to dump their car now, lol.

rwdonly ,well im guessing I am going out on a limb here ,and I might be wrong ,its just that when the new generation comes out ,then the last one will drop in price,I see that some of the bigger dealers are selling the base corvette now for right around the forty six thousand mark ,Im retired so I kinda need to watch my money , so I can only spend around thirty five G for the C7 ,and I wont sell my old 72!!!

I couldn’t have touched a 2019 locally for the price I paid. I tried, and it wasn’t even a convertible.

$29K is too low for sure. But I would think you are looking at $32-33K at the most. Car will be listed for probably $38-39K and that leaves room for any refurb. You might get $38K to a private party but that might take 4 weeks or 4 months. Hard to know. Tough time of year to sell a car period.
