Default 4-post car lift

Hello!

I'm a new member and this is my first post.

I have a 2019 Grand Sport and have been shopping for a home 4-Post Lift. I've checked a few vendors on line like BendPak, which after 3 calls, were totally useless. It seems they never call back when they tell you they have to do more research on their products. One would think they would know their products since they're called "Product Specialists." I've also called Greg Smith. They do know their products and are very helpful but I'm on the fence with the ONE lift they have that's wide enough for the GS. It's a MONSTER lift with a capacity of 9000 pounds and has a large foot print.

So, my question to the Forum is ... Does anyone know of a vendor that ... actually ... has a 4-Post lift that's wide enough for the 77" wide wheel stance of the 2019 Grand Sport with a few inches to spare?

Thanks for the consideration!
Bob

I have an Advantage lift. holds 9000 lb. 19 GS fits fine, the tires have off the edge a little it not centered perfectly. Also added there sliding jack so that front or back can be raised to do brake work or wheel cleaning.

Hey TCRVettes!

Thanks for the information! What model of Advantage Lift is this? I checked and see that they have several.

Yes, I can see that the wheel width is VERY close but as long as the entire tire is on the ramp, it's all good. The jack is a good idea as well!

Thanks!
Bob

Rotary lift, for working on vehicles, well built certified for use other than storage.

Direct Lift Pro Park for storage use.

I have the Direct Lift for storage I got from Greg Smith about 20 years ago. I think it's a 7000 and my GS fits with the tires right on the edge of the ramps like the pics above. Works for me.

Mine is extra size but tires fit completely on ramps. My 18 Sierra will fit too.

That Advantage Lift looks just like my Backyard Buddy lift, just a different color. I've had mine for over 10 years and it's built in the USA.

I also have the Advantage Lift 9000XL. A bit more length to it than a standard 9000 lb lift. They actually came out and delivered and installed it which was nice. I had installed/assembled my last hoist and it was a pain in the butt. This is identical to the backyard buddy, American steel, not the cheap chinese stuff. A quality lift for sure.

Just to confirm... was the lift you purchased from the Corvette Store the Titan SDPL-8000XLT 4-Post Lift?? How long have you had it and are you happy with how it's built and works? Thanks again for your time.

I have the standard Titan 8000 for my C7 Z51. It is not wide enough for the GS/Z06/ZR1. You would need the XLT model which is wider. Also, there cheaper places to buy the lift. I got mine on fleabay and also saved on shipping by picking it up at their factory in Greenwood, Indiana.

I believe that is the correct model. Think I’ve had about five years. I have no complaints about how it’s built or operates. Also bought the manual bridge jack
I store the C7 above the C5 through the winter and bought extra drip pans.

Plus one on the Advantage Lift. After about two months of looking and considering sizes (wanted something for my F150 and vette) and safety factors, I placed an order today for an Advantage DX-9000-XLT lift and two air rolling jacks. I like the solid post design vs. the C-channel posts. Good luck finding the perfect lift for you, OP.
