Advice on 4-post lift
I have been looking at Atlas 4-post lifts. I have an oversize garage, but trying to get something not too big. My main concern is Drive Through Width (outside of tire to outside of tire). My cars are 76" to 80" wide without the mirrors.
Atlas Pro 8000 EXT-L has Drive Through Width of 84". I am thinking that should be sufficient. I also looked Atlas Pro 9000 with Drive Through Width of 97", but the foot print is huge 227" x 131".
Anyone here has the Pro 8000 EXT-L? I appreciate any feedback.

I would not want a drive through width of 84".... not with a C7.
Width of a C7 mirror to mirror is at least 85 and I have also seen 88 mentioned. You would have to fold the mirrors every time. Width on a widebody C7 is ~78 at the fenders so you would get 3" on either side... thats pretty tight.
Also look at width of the raceways compared to track width. Hanging a tire off a little isnt a big deal, but would bother me because it reduces tolerances.
I think there is a reason you will see a lot of people on here with Bendpack HD9, Direct Lift Propark 8, Advantage 9000, and Backyard Buddy. They all have very similar dimensions.

Except in the ways they are not .
I'd rather use a 4 post for car storage , easier ( slightly ) for oil changes since you don't have to play with the arms . Pretty much anything where I am not taking the wheels off , I'd like a 4 post.
Ideally get both

I bought The Challenger CL4P9W since it was the widest, longest runway length, and tallest walk under height. My ceilings are about 13.5' high and bay is 28' deep. Love being able to drive out without folding the mirrors. Even with this width the C7 is still close on each side at the mirrors. I also have 2 rolling jacks on the lift to get all 4 wheels up in the air.

The rolling jacks work great on my base C7 and should be fine for the Z06. There are extensions for the lifting pads to raise them up for SUVs/trucks, but if you have a lot of ground clearance you may have to add some wood blocks, etc. for more reach height.
Challenger gave some namers of local installers to work with and I also did my own local search for my installer.
Here's a time-lapse video of my installation:

Thank you all for your input!
I decided against the Atlas and planning to get this Direct Lift Pro Park 8 as recommended by rjacobs: https://www.derekweaver.com/rodders-...d-4-post-lift/ It has drive through width of 86.5". ALI certified and only $2,899 for local pickup. Also it doesn't require an air compressor as some of the BendPak lifts do.

I also found this Auto Lift Car-Park-8-Plus https://www.bestbuyautoequipment.com...ark-8plusp.htm With Drive Thru Width of 87.2" & Outside Runway to Outside Runway of 80.7". The widest in it's class. Price is attractive too $3,049 including shipping and installation, but it is not ALI certified. Thoughts?

+1 on the Direct Lift. I also have the sliding jack for changing wheels, etc. 110 Volt is fine, no air compressor. Don't need to fold the mirrors. Cheaper than the rest and very good build quality and easy to use. I also have the casters so I can roll the whole thing around the garage if I need to move it. Have had mine for 4 years now, love it.

ALI is kind of a BS marketing gimmick. Pay us a licensing fee and we will allow you to slap an ALI sticker on your lift. Not sure is really means anything.

You can buy a manual hydraulic sliding pump jack for your four post lift , for access to all four wheel removable . Muck cheaper than air operator sliding jacks . ✌️

I have the direct lift mentioned above but it’s the Forward brand. Great lift. I wouldn’t skimp a couple hundred for the auto lift brand. ALI certification means the lift was tested to 150% of its rated amount. I think auto lift is made by Tuxedo and while I don’t have any experience I wouldn’t try it for a couple hundred bucks. I haven’t needed to put the C7 on it yet but I drove it under with no problems and the mirrors in their normal place.

You know what opinions are like but, OK, here's mine
If I was going to trust a lift with my corvette and more importantly MY LIFE I would recommend one with solid square posts with slots cut into it for the hinged locking bars.
I would NOT get one with a "C" channel posts w tabs welded to the inside of the back wall of the channel.
A solid post lift is more expensive but well worth the extra money considering the consequences.
A good example is Back Yard Buddy, American made, solid post w locking primary and also secondary locking mechanisms.
They have a good video about the safety features on their web site and compares theirs to cheaper lift deficiencies
I've got three, if you don't like BYB brand, just get a solid post lift design and sleep easy at night..
