Default Z07 CCB in Winter?

I'm eyeing my 4th Vette (GS w/ Z07) and it has the carbon ceramic brakes. How are these in the winter? I drive my Vettes all year round and would love some input from other owners.

I have had these on my last 3 Corvette's, and 4 of my other cars, they work fine in the cold, the harder the stops and hotter they get the better they will work, at our upstate NY home been in minus 30 plus with them before, and they stopped

The brakes will work better in the cold than the tires will. Do you change to different tire when you drive your Vette in the winter?

Damn, I forgot the Z07 comes with track tires. Guess I need to take tires into account!

And with today's super performance summer tires it is even worse than it used to be. They are still as slippery as snot on ice - I took my first set of them out on snow and almost killed myself and no doubt a few other people too.

But the best tires today can't be safely moved in any way when the temps are below freezing - on my new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires I can't even change their inflation pressure when it is that cold. Above freezing and they produce amazing amounts of grip but below it you need to treat them like your wife's crystal, if you know what I mean?

You'll want to decide whether you will go with an all-season tire or a winter tire if you want to be safe when it gets below 50 degrees F.

I've never had any issues with the tires that come from the factory on Z51 and GS models. I'll drive the car unless there is a lot of snow on the ground which hits the front bumper.
