2014 C7 convertible. Every day March-November or December. Even in the sleet/snow yesterday. I also use it for long trips towing a lightweight trailer for hunting/fishing/camping/scuba gear and coolers for the fish and meat.

My F-150 is for the following exceptions:
Road salt season which started today.
Towing my fishing boat or my other Corvette ('68 Pro Street Roadster).
Muddy dirt roads (usually deer hunting - which can involve transporting a deer which is best done in a pick-up truck bed).

My daily driver is a 2014 F150...most of the time. A little more convenient around town and since I travel a fair amount for work, I don't mind (too much) having it set at the airport.

I use good old public transportation however I am starting to consider getting a second vehicle that is more practical then the Z06 for winter driving or crappy weather but I have no idea what I want other then 4 doors and 4 wheel drive.

Truck? AWD sport sedan? Good thing I enjoy car shopping.

I purchase Tacomas because they seem to be practically indestructible and issue free. My '96 has never been back to the dealership in it's 23 year life and only to shop for general maintenance and limited parts replacement the '18 is 15 months old with
16,000 miles and has't had a single issue.
Looks like I average right at 21 MPG. I probably drive a little more highway than city.

My toy hauler gets the daily duty. Don't want to risk the C7 at the grocery store parking lot!

Myself (On the right) and my salesman on the day I picked up the car last April. The engineering on the car is incredible. Not retired yet so I'm still "pitching".

My C7, in the rain, because--Seattle. Wife commandeers the CTS VSport, which is pretty zippy in its own right.

For commuting to the university during April through October 31st, I ride my 2000 Honda VFR800fi Interceptor.
For when I have to haul stuff, like hoses, rakes, shovels, extra members of my family (greater than one extra passenger), or when I am pulling our 30 foot camper, I use our 2006 Chevy Avalanche.

Miles traversed so far this year:
VFR800fi: 1100
Avalanche: 5600
Z51 Corvette: 5100
1984 Pontiac Trans Am: 0 miles. (Time to find it a new owner, I guess)

A 2001 Audi A6 2.7T was the best car ergonomically that I have owned and its performance was also excellent for a sedan. Unfortunately the transmission failed at 77k miles. The dealer told me to take it to a wrecking yard. It was my best car ergonomically but the earliest to fail. I think Audi's are great as long as they are under warranty.

'15 Z51 manual is my daily (3LT, comp seats, mag ride). The C4 ZR-1 is for when I want something more raw (stroked 391cid with big cams).
I've daily driven most of the Vettes I've owned, and the C7 is by far the best as a daily driver.

I've had four A6s, specifically, 2001, 2005, 2012 and 2019. I had the same issue as you did with my 2001. The trans crapped out on me after 112k miles, this in addition to a bad oil leak. The 2015 and 2012 each made it to 200k miles. Both had to survive the New Jersey roads (terrible) and weather, which made the roads worse. Anyway, the 2019 has about 15k miles in its' first six months. I suspect it will take me longer to get to 200k since I'm out of the state for at least four months of the year.

My ‘13 Silverado. I love that thing and can’t live without a truck anymore. Dog, kayaks, safety...blah blah blah.

I sat in a new base-Silverado four door Black interior at the Chevy dealer when I took my C7 in for it's oil change this week. I'm thinking I may go new Chevy pickup for the 1st time in my life as a DD. I L♡VED it!

Do it! Get a Silverado! I love mine. The new one is awesome but I just didn't have a need for a payment on another truck. Mine is paid off, so putting my dollars toward the vette. The new Trail Boss.....that's the way to go if you go new.

Turned in my 16 A6 for this 19 S4. To me its a great compliment to the 19 GS. Plenty quick, beutiful interior and a great drive when the weather gets iffy here in the Northeast.

I have seven vehicles and I live alone. I know, I have a problem. But the one end up in the most is my 2002 Lexus IS300. It has 289,000 miles on it. It was the first vehicle I had ever owned with leather or heated seats. She purrs like a kitten, gets great gas mileage and has ac that will freeze you out.
