Extended Warranty by Fichtner
Another satisfied customer on extended warranty via Dennis Fichtner. Guy matched my lowest shopped price, can't or want disclose price as requested by Dennis. If you are in the market do your shopping and contact Dennis and he will match or beat. I gave him my lowest price and he said, "I'll match it no questions asked."
I went with zero deductible platinum policy 5 yr 40K miles. Very well know on Forum. Easy transaction and very pleased. Hope I never need it, LOL!

Just curious …. if Dennis's prices are so good, why would he object to you saying what it was ? or what a deal you received ?? hmmmm !

Hmmm no clue why don't u call him and ask. Not unusual the keep prices confidential. Not sure but this month maybe one price and in 6 months he maybe able to offer at cheaper rate and someone may get sideways because the paid a different rate if publicized. Just saying just a guess. Let's not start a peeing contest. My post and point is he will meet or beat any price.

If Dennis wants my business, why play games with me/us????
OK, so I get Dennis' best price quotes then shop them here. I beat Dennis' price, and won't have to fool with the secret shopping game. .

Bought my GMEPP warranty from Dennis last November. Excellent service and a fair price.

I too bought my warranty from Dennis & I can tell you why he does not disclose pricing on the forum. The reason is because when you see a price quote from Dennis, you will have a 100 different prices. Price depends on Vin#, miles on car, age of car, length of time you want warranty, type of warranty, (GM offers 2 levels) deductible, coupe, vert Z51, Z06 etc. Your best bet is to give him a call, have all your information on hand, and he will give you a competitive quote.

I bought my warranty from Dennis a week or so ago. I posted the price on this forum that I paid for the warranty. Dennis had no objection to me doing so as I told him I was going to post it.

Exactly right. He can't quote prices because of all the variables involved. Every car has different dates of service lengths, mileage, etc. However, everyone gets the same % discount off retail price from Fichtner, which usually can't be matched elsewhere.

I was at a $200 deductible, Dennis got me to $0 deductible and saved me $250 on top of that. Then I saved another $450-ish in interest by cancelling my original extended warranty. Dennis was easy to work with. The only hassle if anything at all was getting my original policy cancelled, these guys must make a huge commission off of these things because they sure fight for it. Anyway, thanks OP - much appreciated!

It's easy to provide "good service" when selling you a policy. What has to be done? Quote you a price, take your money, send you some paperwork. Macmulkin does the same thing. The real key to service is when you have a claim, and by that time the selling agent is out of the picture. I have no beef with Dennis, but a while back he was whining that Macmulkin was undercutting him and he "just couldn't sell at a loss." Yeah, OK. I get that. If you've done your homework and got a few bids, and he wins. Great! I'll definitely call him when the time comes.

Saved myself $2200 by giving MacMulkin a call after getting Fichtner's "Take $300 off my crazy low price quote". Darned if I was giving Fichtner a call back to match MacMulkin's price if he wasn't going to be up front with his best price to start with.

Last year I purchased the 7 year/56K mile 0 ded Platinum Plan for my 15 Z06. Dennis charged me $2280 at that time. So far I have received $3300 in benefits from the plan. One driver's side lumbar/ side bolster bladder/pump replaced for $532, one clutch master cylinder replaced for $742 and one passenger side headlight that decided to short out its turn signal replaced for $1839. All covered by the plan, just walk in the door, throw the keys at them and say fix it. Still have 6 more years of coverage.

Both of these providers seem to offer decent prices. I guess if you really wanted the absolute bottom dollar you could play them against each other. I didn't do that because I believed Dennis gave me a fair deal, especially considering I was past the 3/36 (but still under 10,000 on the odo) when I purchased my 7/75000 plan. If you are in the same procrastinator boat I was in give him and/or McMulkin a call. All is not lost.
