Average age of Corvette owners & CF readers

Well, each post is in a frame, and I can scrape out the numbers easily enough, for those that post "I am 70 but act 16" might throw it off a little, but those are easy to spot..... most are not saying any rational number, the one's that are 20-25 might be tricky, but it's less than 200 posts from what I can see.
Since this thread was from last year, and suddenly gaining traction, I'll wait until it slows down a bit before running the program. It will look like a Bot to the system ads but I won't hit it too hard so they probably won't notice.
Easy Peasy.
Oh, edit: I am 60.. bought my first last year, a first year 2005, C6 coupe. Love every minute under the hood.

No worries Ron! It should be fun. Data won't be all that "telling", to get really good analytics we would need a full on survey, income range, age, ethnicity, gender, car questions like, do you work on your own, do you daily drive it, how old is it, how many have you owned. GM marketing folks probably already know, to a high level, what the "average" Corvette owner looks like (no, I am not talking New Balance and Jorts).
But hey it will be fun anyway, non-scientific and I'll see what other data I can glean. Like the number life time posts from each person responding.

I'm 53 and I've always wanted one for as long as I can remember. Bought a 1992 polo green in Saudi Arabia of all places. Loved it.
2001 also polo green.
2008 red 6sp z51
2018 red 7 sp z51. 2nd brand new car purchased. The other was was a 1986 vette. A chevette! Of course all the girls loved it

I would also enjoy the analysis of who they think the buyer of the C8 is going to be, what they want, and the efforts made to attract that buyer. We know GM wants a younger buyer. Other than the obvious (e.g., mid-engine) the only specific I know is the deliberate decision to avoid the old man's car look by not offering chrome wheels.

No question. It would be fun if they shared what they know but they are not going to.

My 1980 wheels still look fantastic!

Age of Corvette Owners
74, bought a 2009 C-6 Coupe with 10k original miles at 72. Waited 47 years to buy a Corvette, no sense waiting any longer at my age ! I don't care if owning my C-6 is a late in life crisis, what's wrong with having some fun ? I drive it as much as I can except in bad weather. Only had the Clear Top off once, I prefer the quiet with the top on. Took off the awful Summer Run Flats for a set of Michelin all season A-Sports. I don't need extreme handling tires I prefer the somewhat softer ride and the ability to drive on clean clear NY Winter roads. It's fast enough and handles great bone stock as it is. I owned Muscle cars when I was young man, my favorite was the 1967 Chevy Impala SS-427 Red body Black Vinyl roof, 4 speed, slotted wheels, Corvette steering wheel, fake chrome vents on the hood, Red Stripe tires. A rare car then even rarer now if you can find one. Oh, I never had my C-6 over 80 ! Sure beats a Prius at any speed !

I'm likely ineligible, let me explain: had 2016 Z51, 2LT for three years. It was a lease so turned it in last year and bought a German lil Hot Rod. (No, not a 911, although I wish) I'm regretting my decision and am getting back into a Vette. Why'd I stray? Unless you're a marriage counselor, you likely cannot help me.
Edit to add that I was 58 when turned in Vette last year.
