Default C7 targa rear latch loose

Is it mine or everyones? When i stow the targa in the htach, the targas J-latch assembly flops around like a stuck pig. On my ex-C6, it was spring loaded. The assembly works when put on the top but loose when not on.

I think that if you close the latch, the tongue will be held in place by the back of the hatchback, and it will not flop around or rattle.

When the pins on the front of the roof are located in their receivers in the trunk, the roof latch can either be open or closed...on mine, when I close the latch and then snap the top into place, the tongue is wedged between the roof and the back lip of the hatch...
