Here's my 15m7 Callaway Z06. I love the car it's amazing. Only thing I would trade it for in a couple of years is possibly for a c8 Z06. A little dirty here had been driving around all day. 😁
I've been trying to convince myself that I could live with paddle shifters when the C8 comes out but I know deep down that I wouldn't be happy with it. So I thought I would upgrade my 1LT Z51 M7 while they're still taking factory orders. Stopped by and placed an order for a 2LZ Z06 M7 with Mike Furman this morning. Gonna be a long 6 week wait.

I’m going through the same thing right now, waiting on my 1lz that I built to come in. I’ve been going crazy wondering if I made a mistake not going with a 2LZ. I went through Mike Furman, I was at 3000 order Status and he told me it was impossible to upgrade to a 2LZ which sucked.
Anybody think I’ll regret not getting a 2LZ?
I don’t think you will. My 19 is 1 LZ. And I love it. Just remember less things that can go wrong.lol
I have a base M7 and have toyed with the idea of upgrading to a Z06 M7. I am hoping against hope that there will eventually be a C8 manual in a convertible. Back in 2013 I scratched my head when I stay people getting a C6 with a completely new model coming out. I have a problem getting a soon to be older style vette as a new car.
The discounts on the 2019 make for a compelling case. I will probably buy a C8 but will wait for the backlog of first movers to diminish. This should help with a modest discount and teething issues, if any. I bought a new 1996 C4 in November of 1995 and sold it three years later for a new 1999 C5. The depreciation was quite modest, mostly because I got such a deep discount on the 1996.
Here's a couple of pics my wife took this morning. Didn't get to drive it very long. Took it straight to my Xpel installer for a near full wrap, ceramic coating and window tint. Won't get it back until late next week. Supposed to rain here 5 out of the next 6 days and I'll probably be out of town on a trip for 3 or 4 days so no big deal.

Finally got the Z back from my PPF installer. The wife and I took it out to Antietam National Battlefield today. Had a great drive. Only issue I have is the passenger side door is slightly out of alignment. Will address it when I take her in for the 500 mile oil change.
