2014 Z51 C7 trade in value?
So with the C8 just around the corner, I am wondering how badly the C7 values will suffer.
I have a very low mileage 2014 (16K) that I may want to trade for a C8....but gotta run some numbers. Might wait a year like most, but my 2005 C6 was a winner with ZERO issue so "first year" doesn't scare me so much.

I'm waiting the year more for prices than issues. I'm with you, GM seems to get it right the first year (maybe even better than later years lol....C7).
I think your 2014 Z51 has likely depreciated more from 2014 til now and will drop a little more, but not off a cliff like normal since the C8 is SO different.

I don;t think that the C7 values will drop significantly when the C8 production starts. It most likely will still drop some as do all used cars as they age (with certain exceptions of course).

I'm not sure where prices are going to go. I think we have to wait for more C8 info and pricing. I have a C7 for sale right now and not expecting any price drop with the current information.
Part of me thinks the value will hold because not everyone wants mid-engine. Not everyone will want the first year or two of a new model.
