I have M2W and never close it. Drone isn't particularly bad in my GS coupe

I use track mode 100% of the time. I've been debating on Akrapovic Evolution system for over a year now but really want to hear it on another C7 Z06 before I commit to spending that kind of coin...

I did with the fuse pulled in 6th-7th at highway speeds (M7). I now stay in track with fuse in, and at those rpms, NPP stays closed and there's no drone.

Not to an extent it bothers me as I don't do much cruising, more around town and back winding roads. I love the way the GS handles.

I guess with your last poll option it must be "ala mode."

I’ve got my Stingray with the a Borla Xpipe, NPP and the fuse pulled. Sounds really nice and the xpipe gives it a bit more bark. Previously, I had the Xpipe with Hooker Blackheart muffler deletes. It could wake the dead and it was amusing seeing people jump at the gas pumps when started the car at the gas station. After awhile, it got a little too obnoxious for me. Maybe in the future I’ll try the bb bullets. Those look awesome!

Set in Track. I get drone in 6th and 7th at highway speeds (70 mph) unless I set the Drive Mode to ECO then the drone goes away after the engine switches to V4 operation but comes back as soon as the engine switches to V8.

Track mode - Fuse pulled - Borla X-pipe and Range to keep it from switching back and forth to V-4 (which sounds CRAPPY)

Hmm, surprised the OP is asking! You can set NPP so it's always in a specific mode "regardless" of Drive Mode. I set mine in "Always Track Mode." That is the loudest where Butterflies are closed in most cases up to ~1700 rpm. They do start open for a short time.

I set Steering as "Always Sport Mode." It's in the Owner's Manual.

No such option for Throttle Response.

Same here. I threw the fuse out the first day of ownership. The second day of ownership I ordered the Borla. At 37,000 miles I bought the Range. Never had issues with my A8, but thought the Range would be a good tangible insurance policy. So far so good after 93,000 miles. Most reliable and fun car I have ever had. Love the sound.
