I Fly Low

As tempting as it is to tease, I've been confused by this too. The C6 is opposite, with E being left and F being right. I was driving with 1/2 tank, then looked down and I thought the tank was reading more than 1/2.

And the C6 is a good example of what I was talking about above. My Dodge Dakota is similar: left is LOW for all gauges (fuel, oil, temp, volts). If a needle is falling over (left or right) then something is too high or too low, straight up is normal expect fuel where "up" is just a 1/2 tank. My 350Z had really good gauges as they were arranged vertically thus logically up is high and down is low on both fuel & temp. Honestly one might argue that all gauges should move clockwise like the speed-o and the tach. However Aston or maybe Jag (can't remember) have a tach the moves in the opposite direction

What is really bad are the scrolling gauges on the C7, which I believe is the Performance display when in Sport Mode. They are the ones where the needle stays in the middle and numbers scroll behind it. Who thought that was a good idea? The needle's motion and position are your visual clues.
