One or twice a year I clay bar it then apply P21S 12700W Carnauba Wax. It contains no dyes or chemicals.
I went ahead and bought the XPEL cleaner and treatment, since it makes sense that petroleum products could cause injury to the product, and since auto care products are generally not designed for consumption, there is no listing of ingredients. So you really have no idea what you're putting on the car.

Gosh, I don't think I'd use a clay bar on the plastic... but that's me. BTW, I use the P21S wax as well, on painted surfaces. Seems to do pretty good.
