Anyone with airbrushed hood liner/blanket?
I was on the RPI website and looking at their custom airbrushed hood liners/blankets. I have a collector edition grand sport so was thinking of getting one, however, there is no returns. I want the blue to be close to the tension blue used and if it's off, I'm afraid I'll be stuck with it.
Just wondering who's done an airbrushed or any type of custom hood liner/blanket and what it looks like.

I know you said you wanted an air brushed liner, but just wanted to share an alternate idea.
Take a look at this - its metal, and has a gorgeous blue color to the left side of the flag...looks really sharp when installed. Sometimes airbrushed liners look unfocused or blurry - you wont have that issue with this:
Here it is installed on my hood (I also bought polished hood liner fasteners too:

liners
I have had 2 hood liners done. 1 for my c6 and 1 for my c7. Both were done by Steve Ray who I consider to be the master.
The 2 liners are similiar in design as they are what i sent him to pain. The C6 won best underhood pad at Hot springs and at Rogers.
They changed the category to best underhood art/trunk. So no wins yet but i didn't have any trunk art and underhood wasn't finished yet.

some cheap brushes I had laying around with smallish tips. I spray painted the emblem first with metallic carbon flash I had left over from painting my side skirts. It gave a good base coat so the testors paint wouldn't just soak into the liner.
