Lift install questions/help
Help me CF; you’re my only hope....
My garage is 9’ 4”. I’ve searched the internet and this website, and I haven’t found a lift where I could put my 2016 Stingray above my 2014 Altima.
Any brands, types, ideas would be appreciated.
I raise the ceiling because there’s a room over the garage. I can’t go sideways because there’s no room on property line.
Thanks

Can you build a backyard garage? I think you are going to need 10 feet at least. I have 12 and sometimes wish I had more.

How tall is the Altima? The lift isn't really the problem. Most lifts have a cross beam thickness of 4-1/2". Add the height of the Altima, the C7 and the cross beam and allow a few inches clearance and you have your answer.

Not going to work with your height. Need at least 7 inches plus the height of both cars.... Maybe 11 feet..could maybe tray your ceiling and high lift your garage door but even then, it's gonna be tight

I have 143.5" and had to install a two post life with a floor plate. A two post lift without a plate needs about 146"
I would think that you could install a 4 poster.. Since you have 10' (120") a Bend Pac 4 poster has 88" columns with a 4.5" deck and a max height of 74.5". So... you have 120"- (4.5+74.5)" so 41"... That probably isn't going to work.

I had a 9 foot ceiling garage at my last house. I had my C5 corvette on the ground and stacked about it was a 74 455 Trans Am. While I could not stand under the cars to service them I could stack them. Measure the heights of the cars and add perhaps 1 foot for hoist and adjustments of where the hoist can sit in a locked position to see if you have the space. Otherwise the Nissan sits outside!
