Power and materiel are the same. However, construction differs, the SR1 is TIG welded rather than hand welded. The SR1 unit also benefits from a lower build cost while still incorporating a double x-pipe chambers.

Then why does it cost more than the Borla?

The SR1 is a double X-pipe vs Borla Single cross over.

Interesting. Isn't the Corsa similar? What is the benefit?

Yes, much like Corsa's "Double-Helix" concept. Benefiting for a lower price.

How does it sound? A little more growl wouldn't hurt.

The x-pipe removes the last two catalytic converters and thus produces a slighter louder factory sound.

Joe how does this sound compare to the Borla and Corsa? Any issues with voiding warranty?

The sound of the SR1 x-pipe is similar to Corsa. There is no tuning required and the product is a direct bolt. The GM warranty would not cover any aftermarket parts. That being said, if warranty is in question, it is best to speak with our local GM dealership.

Joe,

I didn't mean that the GM warranty would cover your xpipe. I mean if I install the xpipe would it void warranty of any system failure because I added an aftermarket exhaust, even though the aftermarket xpipe did not cause a particular system failure? Thanks
