Best way to sell a 2014 Stingray
My Father-in-law passed away and we need to get his affairs in order. In the garage I found a 2014 Stingray convertible with 9,350 miles on it. Clean as a whistle. Any thoughts on the best way to sell it?

Easiest and quickest way would be to take it to CarMax and let them buy it off of you. While I haven't dealt with them personally, I've heard a lot of good things about them. Another option would be to take photos of the car and post it here in the C7 for sale section. It would also be helpful if you included a photo of the window sticker, assuming that it is accessible. This will help answer many questions that will arise from potential buyers.

I listed my car on craigslist, facebook marketplace, cargurus, and the corvetteforum. It sold above market within 2 days. It's not that hard to list a vin and take 10 pictures or so

Good suggestions above. Give some info now and it could help a sale like color of car, top, interior, equipment and options on the car, etc.

Something negative to keep in mind. When you sell a Corvette it attracts some folks who just want to take it on a joy ride. I would take precautions like asking anyone who comes to see the car to bring a valid drivers licence and proof of insurance on their current vehicle. If you've been to a car showroom lately, then you know they ask for these items too and make copies of them.
Also, I would reserve the right to refuse to allow a potential customer to drive the car.
This is a high performance sports car. Some who can't afford one, use these opportunities to drive cars they otherwise would not be able to. Hate to be negative, but there are some realities when selling a Corvette that don't apply to selling an SUV or a sedan.
Also, I would reserve the right to refuse to allow a potential customer to drive the car.

I agree with the CarMax remark, easy, hassle free, and the amount you’ll receive will be fair. Whatever you are losing in dollars will be worth not fooling with all the issues with a private sale.

Why don't you and the wife keep it? Unless there are siblings involved. Otherwise, why not enjoy life with it?

Another one for CarMax, for selling a car such as a C7 if you don't want to go through a lot of hassle selling on your own.
I'm usually surprised at what they offer and can have a check in your hand in an hour.

The CarMax suggestion is a good one: I've done it several times and it's very quick and clean (plus, no joy riders). And as said by more than one, their prices aren't all that bad most of the time.

Wash the car and detail it.
Take some good photos.
Find out as much information about the car as you can, i.e. what options does it have, can you find the window sticker?
Advertise it on this Forum, Auto Trader, and/or Car Gurus.
Good luck
