Just some minor stuff so far
Done a few little things so far to my new '18 GS 2LT.
1. Carbon Flash Metallic hash stripes.
2. Carbon Flash Metallic brake intakes. Had to break up all the orange back there. Easy install.
3. Waiting on the Carbon Flash badges. Why in the heck did chevy put those dang chrome ones on?! I can see with other paint...but not Orange.
4. Waiting on the Borla x pipe.
5. Vanity plate. Love it as I'm a retired vet. So it fills two bills as they say.

Looks awesome. Mine looks almost the same, except for my machined wheels. Just realized I need to change my avatar...
Anyway, you mentioned the brake intakes were an easy install. Did you follow an install instruction? Everything I think I’ve seen from some vendors suggest you need to essentially take the whole quarter panel off.
Any insights would be great before I tackle.
Thank you! Car looks awesome.

Nice touches so far, and I agree, the Carbon Flash emblems will set it off nicely.
One other suggestion...there is another thread near the top right now talking about tinted overlays for the orange/red side reflectors. Those would look great on yours with the color scheme you have!

Very cool! I thought the same on the chrome badges on the orange. Just me, but they look out of place. The blacks will look great!

Very nice
That looks great!!!
I agree with that chrome badging crap.
My black badges are @ the dealer waiting on me to go pick them up & then finally all the chrome will be gone.
Love the hash marks too.

Looking really sharp
While not for everyone, I'd say consider the Carbon Flash mirrors as well. Do a wrap first so if you don't like it.....

Z06s have the black intake covers and I like them better than the painted ones on the stock GS. Did you paint them or buy new ones already painted? If you bought OEM CF, do you have the part numbers?
Bought them painted CF from Corvettemods.com
Stock black on Z06, chrome on other models. If you want CF (black) on a base, Z51, or GS you pay $100. If you want chrome on a Z06 you also pay $100. Go figure, they get you coming and going. I agree that chrome badges are out of place on a car with no other chrome on the car's exterior.
