ACS Zero1 rockers - about to pull the trigger, input?
Pulled the RPI stage 1s that came on my car. I prefer the ACS Zero1s and like how they install a bit better. Any reason to not go with the ACS pieces? I like the clean look of the zero1 style and feel it goes best with the standard Stingray. Going back and forth on carbon flash to match the other painted parts and be like OEM, or satin to match the OEM stage 1 Z06 splitter.

Long story short: I looked thru dozens of photos of rockers, started a thread for input, and went with ACS Zero 1. Really happy with the look. It's a challenge to get a photo of rockers that gives the total effect.
I am sure you will find other photos, but thought I might add a couple different views that might be helpful. I really like how they conform to the rocker. Tried to capture that a little.
[PS: that's a reflection on the last photo, not a chip!]

Are they a smidge short at the front?

Yup, just a few mm. Not really noticeable when on the ground, but I did notice it on installation. Others noted it too with their installations. Some make it up at the back, or split the difference. I have red mud flaps too and this also reduces the effect.

Appears satin goes very nicely with the stage 1 splitter.

Yes they are pre-drilled and you’d just reuse your oem bolts. Mine just have the bolts on the front and rear and some 3M VHB tape on the center. Been solid for about 7-8 months now and the car makes 610 to the wheels (what I’m getting st is it isn’t going anywhere without extra rivets)

I have the ACS Zero1 rockers on my 2014 and am very happy with them. Install was straight forward and easy enough working alone with the fitment about as good as you'll find for aftermarket body pieces. I installed them about a year ago and they're holding up fine.

I just helped my buddy install ACS ZO6 style side skirts on his car. I can say 3 things about them. 1.) They came with, IMHO useless rivets that were a big PITA to install. I'd suggest going to your local hardware store and using #8 x 1/2" self tapping screws instead. 2.) they were very pricey. 3.) but their quality and fitment was excellent and I think they look great!

I'm not going on track with a rocker screwed into SMC.

I went ACS 01 also. Only ordered mine primed only. Before installation I coated the bottom with two or three coats of bedliner paint to stop any potential noise from pebbles that might hit them. Next I painted the tops with a flat black rattle can. Again two or three coats.. Once dry I installed them with the OEM screws two or three in front and back. Plus I used some silicone sealant with a small bead about 1/2 inch back from the edge where it meets the car. I used some two by fours and some wedges under them til they dried. Then I used sping clips or spring nuts they might be called. Used about 3 or 4 on each side. It clips the SMC to the ACS Skirt real tight. I wanted the ability to remove these should I smash one during autocross. The flat black paint and the poverty splitter without paint are about the same color esp with plenty of coats of Griots dressing. Both the skirts and the splitter have a nice dull flat black sheen.

I run the Zo6 style ACS in carbon flash. They work great at keeping the sides from getting beat up. The front I got from someone else that I forget. It was carbon flash but when I repaired it I just went with gloss black. You really don't notice it and they do take a beating from rocks. I have Xpel on the car and it's perfect but the splitter needs touch up once a year.
