Default Last big drive of the season

Took the GS out for one last drive before winter sets in. For those familiar with the Pacific Northwest, took Hwy 20 east over to Leavenworth and then Hwy 2 back to Seattle. 12 hour day not including 1 hour sitting in Hwy 2's version of a parking lot as we got closer to Seattle.

In the morning, had the pleasure of coming across a group of four Vettes traveling in the same direction. They finally pulled over after a while. Ends up they were coming from Victoria, BC and were heading south to Las Vegas for the Barrett-Jackson car auction.

Here's a photo of their cars and my GS along with another photo of the GS along the Columbia River and one tourist shot from Leavenworth. Poor GS is a dirty as hell now after crossing the mountain passes. Melting snow all over the place from the afternoon sun.

My GS plus the Victoria Four.

At the Columbia River.

Leavenworth in Eastern Washington.

Cool pics thanks for sharing. Love Leavenworth.

I'm not looking forward to winter because all the really fun roads here in the Northwest become either not driveable due to snow or they have too much gravel laid down. Already feels like the walls are closing in

Really great scenery !

But ... I'm still thankful I live in Florida and don't have to put the Corvette away for the winter.

Nice photos. There are advantages living where the roads are dry and gravel free even during the winter.

It's not as bad here as some parts of the country. There will be warmish, dryish days here and there where I'll be able to get a short drive in, but yeah, Florida weather would be nice. On the other hand, we have some awesome mountain and coastal roads.

Nice photos and it sounds like y'all had a great drive! I'm looking forward to doing that drive again next summer but probably as a 2-day event... No way would my wife go for a 12+ hour drive for fun!

Yeah, my wife was a good sport about the whole thing, but it was a bit much. I agree that it would be a much better drive over two days. We didn't stop and enjoy the scenery as much as we would have liked.

Awesome pictures man! Me being in North FL, this is my favorite time of the year, I can have the top off without getting wet at random or instant skin cancer. Plus all the test and tunes at SGMP.
