Hey Guys,
Will most likely get the Grand Sport Center Stripe Carbon Flash (DNE) option plus the Heritage fender stripes. Are they applied at the assembly plant in Bowling Green or are these applied at the dealer?

My Carbon Flash stinger hood was installed at plant, 17 GS I didn't get hash stripes so I can't answer about them

They are installed by a third party contracted by the plant.

My 2016 left the plant with no stripes (have the build book to prove it), but when it got to the museum it had stripes.

Was told by the plant they ship the cars off-site, a vendor installs them, and ships them back. Then the plant sends it to the dealer.

Didn't know that. Thought the plant did it.

The reason the plant doesn't is time, and skill level. To get it done right you need someone who knows a lot about vinyl, and a place to do it. The plant has neither, and it was cheaper to contract it than to learn it.

Thanks for the info. Didn't know about the third party applying the stripe's. Does that also include the Heritage fender hash marks?

To my knowledge all vinyl is done outside including hash marks.

Just had Hash Stripes put on By Kerbeck. Outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In by 11 out by 12. Professional as can be.

I think it's in the same industrial complex. Whoever does it basically rents warehouse space.

I wonder if the cars are trucked off site or maybe driven. Would help explain why differing miles on delivered cars.
