"In honor of jpee"
Now I'm confused by all the posts above but I do recall having a one-day old Corvette and it developed what I called a stress crack on a lower panel adjacent to fender. As I recall, it was a straight line crack from the edge inward, not looking curved like the one pictured above. I've no idea what other cracks looks like on these cars.
The dealer agreed with me, replaced the panel with same paint color, altho car was a dark color to begin with, and the panel was located very low on the car. But I looked in all lights very closely, and it seemed good to me.
Tell us how this gets resolved.

Went thru same issue with KERBECK on Aug 7th with my 2018 GS. After being told no issue for weeks, as soon as deal was finalized, I had damage ! Had non refundable deposit of $2000 for Xpel Ultimate wrap to be applied near there. Lost a lot of money..... And still own a new car off the lot with damage, needing repair. Sad....

To put it succinctly, I am aghast!!! I just ordered mine hoping that by building 12 cars per hours instead of 18 in the upgraded plant/paint shop that they will have better quality control and paint process. But if it happens to me after spending this kind of money, this will be my first and last GM product.

had a crack in my passenger side about 2 months after taking possession. Talked to a Chevrolet representative and he told me to take it to my nearest dealer to get it repaired. They fixed it in a couple days and you cannot see where they fixed it. Perfect paint match and no problems since then.

Update
After 2 weeks without a return call from GM customer care Kerbeck initiated a warranty claim on my behalf. They were able to view the car at Carlisle and it was suggested I obtain a factory sprayed fender when the plant reopens. Still waiting to hear back from GM for confirmation of a resolution, but I will keep updating as I go and hopefully this will help out anyone else with similar issues.
Just purchased a 2017 Grand Sport. Brand new from Kerbeck. After a few hundred miles I noticed a stress crack over the front passenger wheel and a missing paint spot between front fender and bumper. I was told to initiate a claim through chevy, but I would imagine the best case scenario is to refit a new fender which may not match. Anyone deal with this in the past or anyone have any ideas?

The potential issue you're going to have is that there probably aren't any factory sprayed fascias available because of the paint shop upgrade and plant shut down. Which begs the question, do you want to risk the paint not matching (even if it is white) because 90% of the car was painted in 1 shop and the new fascia will be painted in new paint shop?
I have been strongly recommending to anyone with this problem to get a new factory painted fascia, but considering the change over in the paint plant, if I were you, I would consider having it re-sprayed locally via a warranty claim through a local dealer.
That's just my .02 for you to consider.
