I am going to be ordering arctic white and in south Florida this is the most prevalent color. In an attempt to give the car some uniqueness, I am thinking of orange stripes, much like what was available on the late 1960s white Camaros with orange hugger stripes. I have found only one picture on the Internet of this color combination so it is likely quite rare. But I don't know if it is rare because the combination is perceived as atrocious or because no one was bold enough to order it this way. Hearing the community's opinions will definitely help me decide.

Just an off-the-cuff emotional reaction without an attempt at analyses, it looks washed out to me: orange sherbet ice cream. I think red would be much more dramatic.

Back in 1969, my brother came back home from Vietnam, and he purchase a 1969 Hugger Orange Chevelle SS 396. Since then I have been a fan of orange. C7 with orange strips has my vote.

Orange Stripes on a White c7..Nope NG
Orange and White on a 69 Camaro...Yes
Switch to Silver with black or Red stripes.If you want a lite color
Dark Colors with ghost type stripes are a winn with C7 Styling

I like orange and I like white, but not so much together. A brighter, deeper orange might help. That one looks a little pale. However its your choice, so pick what you like.

I think it looks ok. I sure wouldn't go with red interior with that stripe. Now red stripe and red interior would look great.

I agree w/the above poster. If you're set on orange stripes, then I think they'd look better on silver... or even gray. Looks too much like ice cream w/AW.

Neither the C5 or C6 lent itself to stripes, but I think the C7 does.

I'm not sold on the color combo, however. What color interior will you be ordering?

I think the orange stripes on white look great. Vinyl stripes are no different than clear PPFs. They can be easily removed, anytime you change your mind, or decide to sell the car.
