Update
Hi guys! I ended up adding the carbon ceramic brakes along with the clear tail lights and z06 hood! I was going to sell and buy a ZR1 but the c8 is what I’m shooting for now.

Parts
thanks! I do not have a part number for the brakes as I got them from a local seller used. I can say I used my stock brake lines and caliper bolts. Local corvette shop installed them in 2 hours. I paid 550 for the lights from a local forum member and 800 for the hood also from a forum member.

To all who have done a widebody conversion: Have you done a rear wheel alignment to Z06/Grand Sport specs per the manual? I see the camber values are different. I have done the rear with O.E. GM parts and ACS's brake scoop. My rear tires have developed some "feathering" over time. Looking for some feedback. Thanks.

This may be a really dumb question, but isn't the suspension geometry different between the narrow and wide-body models? If that is the case, I wonder how a base to wide conversion would feel during vigorous driving (such as a track) as compared to the GS/Z06/ZR1. Cosmetically they would look the same, but would they handle the same.
Another simple question for the guys with aftermarket blowers: do you experience overheating issues under heavy stress, such as tracking the car?

I got a few hours in today, I got the aperture panels glued on, the interior reassembled and cleaned up, and I was able to mock up the front fenders and get the hardware transfered over from the old ones. I've updated post#2 with the progress.
I found something interesting that I think deserves repeating here:
If you want to Z06 / GS widebody, you must do the front fenders as well. The Stingray fenders do not line up with the Z06 aperture panels, at all. It has been suggested here (and I think even a vendor is selling a rear-and-aperture-only widebody kit) that it was possible, and unfortunately it is not. At least not without dramatically modifying either the aperture panel or the fender.
Anyway, I'm headed on a vacation and won't be around to work on it again until next week, or the weekend after that.
Thanks for reading!
From his photos, the back of his parts have a lot of yellow overspray. Considering the parts come primed in grey from GM, and his car is shark grey, I'd guess maybe he had take-offs or maybe purchased somebody else's canceled widebody panels.

Fender nuts
^That's actually a good question. We don't really rush these things, and we often stop to admire our work, or take photos, etc.
That being said, this isn't a difficult process, just a little nervewracking (when cutting off the old aperture panels, and gluing the new ones on). All the panel bolts are easy to get to, and things come off and go on very easily. The most time consuming task was door alignment, and even that wasn't too terrible.
A quick update, C7Carbon is finishing up my Z06 spoiler and hopefully will have it shipped out to me in the next week or so, in time for upcoming car shows!
