I'd like to see some brighter colors too. That said, White + WGG + Black + traditional Torch Red made up a vast majority of the 2017s. It is hard for GM to justify a color if it will only make up a few percent of orders.

Progress pics from today. They made good progress, install of the clear bra this afternoon and final application of ceramic coat.
It amazes me how the film conforms like it does in door jambs!

I love it! Almost bought a Lotus Elise in a similar orange.
Can't wait for more pictures.

Yesterday since my car wasn't ready, I spent some time at the Porsche Experience Center:
At Porsche Experience Center I was also was able to meet the current owner of my first GT3 that I sold in 2013. Currently he works for Porsche North America. Great guy and I'm glad the GT3 is in good hands. Here's a picture from a time trial at Thunderhill:
So hopefully today is delivery day! I'm headed over there this morning. If all goes as planned I will be on the road early enough to get to the NCM before they close. Then I plan to get to Mt. Vernon IL and get the break in service done in the morning. We'll see if that all goes as planned! Here's my tentative route:

At least not in the door jambs! I'm sure there will be areas, maybe the hatch? That's what is nice about black as the underlining color, it won't be that noticeable to see. I also left some trim pieces in black, like the mirrors and the top fender vents.

Awesome Montoya! The car is beautiful!
I've seen you on Rennlist and to pics of your race car.
Why not Voodoo or Mexico Blue???
Have a safe trip home. If you can, the Museum is a must visit!

It's DONE!!!
Justin with his Monster Z06
The whole crew at Atlanta Custom Wraps!!! Wow, what a great job guys, the smile is permanently etched on my face now. The care and attention to detail are just incredible, not a seam anywhere, every panel and door looks like paint! WOW, WOW, WOW!!!
As much as I wanted to get lunch with everyone, I had to hit the road. Here I am getting gas 350 miles later. I guy comes up to me and asked if that was my Corvette? "Yes", I said. "Let me shake your hand".
Stopping for dinner and making this post. Getting back on the road so I can make my appointment for break in service tomorrow at Rick Hendricks Chevrolet in Shawnee Mission based on the recommendation of others on this forum. In addition to the break in service I asked them to check the alignment. about another 300 miles to go tonight! Yikes (but fun!) Loving all the features in the car so far, I'll start posting observations tomorrow.

Congrats OP. That is a beautiful GS. Chevy really should offer these colors even if it were a few grand more it really makes these car cool and more exotic.
