Bowling Green hotel recommendation

Bowling Green hotel recommendation
I'm headed out to the NCM soon (!) and everything is set up for the most part except a hotel room. Here's the thing though. I only need a hotel for a few hours.
My flight arrives in Nashville at 10:45pm-ish. By the time I get my rental and get to Bowling Green it will after midnight. I have a 7:45 delivery at the NCM the next day. So at most I'm going to be in the hotel for 7 hours. So I'm not looking for anything fancy. However, I looked up a bunch of economy hotels and the reviews were a little scary--bedbugs, rotting food in the ice bucket, etc.
I'm looking for recommendations for a hotel that would work well with the NCM/delivery. Clean and safe are pretty much my only requirements. Suggestions?

The Drury inn is very nice, and includes a full breakfast.

There a several decent motels near NCM. Most of the Bowling Green motels are near town much farther away.

We always stay at the La Quinta on Mel Browning St. From there it's just a short run up to the plant. It's well cared for, clean, and comfortable. There's a Cracker Barrel right across the street if you don't want to drive anywhere.

I would sleep in the rental car before I went cheap with the bedbug 6 or the bloodstain 8.

Agreed, which is why I'm asking. I'm hoping for some middle ground. An expensive bed-and-breakfast would be a waste for 6 hours especially since I likely won't eat breakfast or much of one.

What a bunch of pussies. The Super 8 is fairly new and right across the street from NCM.

The Super 8 didn't look bad to me. I didn't stay there, I stayed at the hotel Sync behind it which is really nice and I highly recommend.

The Super 8 North has gone downhill in my opinion. Guessing that its nearly 20 years old and showing it's age. I believe I first stayed there around 14-15 years ago. I now stay at the La Quinta. If no rooms available there, I would check the Drury or the Best Western. All three are nice motels with good breakfasts. Cracker Barrel is next to the Best Western and across the street from the La Quinta.
check the reviews from people that have actually stayed at the Super 8. https://www.expedia-aarp.com/Bowling...el-Information
Since you are only going to stay one night, spend an extra $50 and get a decent motel for the night(and a good breakfast in the morning). The Hotel Sync is very nice, but more expensive and doesn't serve a hot breakfast(but does have a kitchen if you bring your own food to cook for breakfast).

Safety Car
Hampton Inn, 233 Three Springs Rd, (two exits south of the Museum) has always been good for the last six Cruise Ins and the subsequent Barn Raisings. They also feature a full breakfast and a sack lunch to go.

I have not stayed there but the reviews are good. Rated 14 out of 35 by TripAdvisor.com. Drury is #2, Best Western is #3 and La Quinta is #6, Super 8 North is #20, to give you an idea of where it is ranked.

You need a little work on your communication skills on helping out your fellow Corvette owners. This is a fraternity and brotherhood where we try to help one another out.

We've stayed at the Best Western on Mel Browning last September . It is a new hotel, very modern and clean. The breakfast is complimentary and very good. We are staying there this week for the Bash.

You're probably buying a Corvette in the $70,000 range.
What's another $50-$75 for staying in a nice place?

The slightly longer answer is where does it stop? I rented a smaller car from enterprise because I'm driving it like 70 miles and that's it. For just $100 more I could have upgraded to a big luxury SUV. I could have upgraded plane tickets to first class. I could get reservations at fancy restaurants for every meal on the drive home. If I used the "the car is expensive, so $75 means nothing" line of thought every time, I could easily drop an extra thousand and that isn't my style.
Again this is me, but I've already paid for museum delivery, a one-way airline ticket, a rental car, dog boarding for a week, hotels on the drive back, meals on the drive back. It also seems I rolled the dice on the NCM experience and partially lost as it looks to rain my whole drive back. That's enough money spent.
Anyway, I grabbed a room at the Best Western. Thanks for the fun responses. You all never fail to entertain.

I understand this line of reasoning but I'm afraid it just isn't my personality. The short answer is, as I said, I'm going to be in the hotel for six hours. I wouldn't take much advantage of nice so as long as it is clean and safe, I'll be fine.

I've stayed at the Super 8 across state road 446 fr. the Museum 2-3 times in the last couple years; no complaints. The Country Hearth Inn right acr. from the Museum a few times; complaints---it needs major upgrade.
