I will wave (provided I see them in time). Usually it is a raised hand w/o wave motion.
When coming from the opposite direction, the other driver will sometimes flash their lights instead of wave.

I'm the same way Joe. I figure if they don't wave there's many reasons. Hopefully most understand also. Heck, I've even had the wife tell me I missed one.

I was on I20 the other day, top off, 80mph. Saw another C7 opposite direction...raised my arm up. He didn't see tho.
That's some wind tho...80 and reaching up. LOL

There is no requirement to wave to the lucky owners of other C7's if you don't want to.
We are all Americans and we have the right to be dicks!
I think I saw that in my pocket copy of the Constitution.

Wave aside (which is always given) my wife seems to think we are all part of a strange cult. Well, and she doesn't get why Corvettes tend to magically congregate in out of the way parking lot sections.

Yeah - so does mine, but then she is really pretty used to it after all my many years of hard core car addiction.
My name is Jim and I am addicted to sports cars -- PLEASE don't help me.

Now on my 7 Vette (about 30 years total) and I always try to wave. Most times I'm the initiator.
Of course some times your just busy, not paying attention and you do not wave. For me I drive as much top down as possible a wave is very easy to do.
FWIW I have noted for the last couple years many bikes will give a wave to me and of course I reciprocate. This is the same wave they give to other bikes of their class. This is mostely up in the mountains on the roads that go around the large lake I live on.
When I say bikes, that is single bikes or on many occasions a group of bikes traveling together. The bikes that do wave are mostly big bikes like Harley's, Harley look alikes or the very large touring bikes of other brands. Hardly ever a crotch rocket!

It's somewhat of a fraternity I suppose. I'm happy to finally be a part of it
last night around 11pm, checking into a hotel for my daughters dance competition, a couple rolled up in an SUV. The wife immediately came over to me and started chatting me up about my vette. She has an '02.
if it's not a wave, it's others that want to share and talk.
