Installed new Carbon Flash spats today
I had Connel Chevrolet install some new Carbon Flash Spats on my 2017 GS - all the trim on my car is Carbon flash but the spats were that cheap looking plastic - I ordered the CF spats from Forum Vendor RPI - these really tie the whole car together - Totally worth the investment!!!!!
thanks to RPI and Connel Chevrolet

I previously considered adding these. I assume the install is pretty straightforward?

Carbon flash Spats
I let my local Chevrolet dealer install - they charged an hour labor, I had read it was tough removing the glue on the original spats and there wasn't much clearance between tires and spats and I have no jack to remove wheels - in my opinion it is a Major improvement - I dislike the plastic unpainted spats as they match nothing on my exterior and reminded me of a pickup truck - will get pictures up when it's light outside

spats
Not trying to spend your hard earned dollars - but... I LOVE MY GS - Love it all - i just thought the spats looked really cheap and so did my wife - when she saw the new ones yesterday she said - That was so worth it!!!! that says it all as she is not a car freak like me - surprised GM doesn't sell them as a $1000 option - lol

That was the first change I made to my Z06. I also had the stage 1 splitter painted as well. Looks much better than the bare plastic.

Nice work, OP! The most painful part of the install is getting the damn adhesive/goo off. I also initially forgot to save the metal clips that are back there (1 near the back of each wheel arch) and had to push those in to get them sitting tight.
Here are mine (on my GS) in Carbon Fiber:
These are the APR carbon fiber spats. I got them from a non-forum but authorized APR reseller for a killer price - made it a no-brainer to get the CF instead of the carbon flash version.
