Default I love the "rumble"

Hi... I recently purchased my first Vette and I haven't been able to drive it much yet because of the weather. Still, I've been enjoying adding some cosmetic mods.

I have to say though - that feeling when you are backing out of the garage or stopped at a light. That shake, shimmy, whatever. The rumble feeling in your seat as if the car is just saying, "I'm ready whenever you are." Man, I really love that. :-)

^^^ no kidding--never had a car sound/feel like that before. Too many quiet German and Japanese. Kind of a 4 wheel Harley!

The best description I've heard is, it sounds like a grizzly bear gargling honey.

Agreed...it's awesome. I added a Corsa Extreme exhaust and now it's even better!

When I was younger my father used to tell me about the cars of his day having rumble seats. I finally got one of my own and guess what he did? He bought one for my mother 6 days later.

My C5 had a 416 stroker with a pretty big cam in it so the C7 seems kind of tame by comparison. It does sound nice going up through the gears on a nice day with the top off in my GS.

I remote start mine at the request of the two grandsons who like to stand behind it and get scared just a little. Then it's, "Do it again Papa!"

That's awesome. Be sure to keep the car for them. They get a license eventually.

As my wife says, "A cold start is music to my ears". I start mine right under her kitchen window and always get the thumbs up.

I love it, too. I had the exhaust set to track all the way home from Bowling Green. My wife even loves it!
