I'll tell you what.....I have invested SO much money into my C7, I will never get out of it what I've put into it. Want to buy my Carbon Fiber Edition????
Then I can get a C7 Collector's Edition, my '63 Split Window, my '78 Indianapolis Edition car.....not to mention the Aventador I want.
Yea, I'm going to be "satisfied".

I have the similar car bought the same time last year. 2016 Z51 7M 3LT convertible with magnetic ride. This is my 3rd C7 and my 34th Corvette overall. Satisfied? Hard to say for sure with only 700 miles on it, but it is a fantastic car. I have the carbon fiber ground effects waiting for warm weather to install, but other than that, I think I am good for awhile. The last Vette was an automatic coupe, and after driving a 1958 convertible, I had to return to a manual convertible like my first ones. "I never drove a Corvette I didn't like!"

We all have different priorities, and goals... I am 49 Years old. I am in a Corvette club were guys are the original owners of 67 vets... that is the year I was born... Point here is I waited a long time for my Vette... I waited on Life, Did what I needed to do, now it was my turn... I got THE CAR I wanted! 2017 GS 2LT...... That is it. I wont be around as long as some of my predecessors... but one day it sure would be cool to be THAT GUY... saying in the year 2047... yeah I'm 90 years old, but I am the original owner of a 2017 GS....

I'm fortunate enough to be able to order a car exactly the way I want it, and have done so for the past 20+ years. After 3 BMW's, I became enamored with the C7. I ordered my "15 Stingray, and the only item I couldn't get was Cyber Gray. It sits next to my '07 Lexus GS350, also a wonderful car when I need an automatic (Phoenix rush hour).
I see the C7 also staying for at least 10 years, as I have no desire for anything more (or less!).

I'm not satisfied. I'm going to purchase a Z06 shortly before I move down to AZ. I need the extra horsepower. My wife likes to race around with her girlfriends in our current 2016 Stingray. Great car, and we'll keep it. I just want more horsepower. I'll get a white one. Manual. 2LZ. Top line arrow package. I would have bought it by now, but couldn't make up my mind between black or white. I just love these cars, period.

I am with Joe. More power. Just not sure I want LT4 power. Maybe I will mod the GS. I have a ZL1 and like how its loose and drifts better. More fun for messing around on the street.

Just an observation - some will agree and others will not. When the 2010 Grand Sport came out, the narrow body Corvette suddenly looked rather bland. I for one wished I could have replaced my 2005 coupe for a Grand Sport but it wasn't in the cards. The yearning was even stronger when the 2013 427 convertible was introduced. Not so with the C7. To my eyes, the 2017 Grand Sport doesn't diminish the eye appeal of the Stingray one bit. It's a great feeling to enjoy what I have even though it's no longer the latest and greatest.

I love my C7 Vette....since I was a little boy I wanted a white Convertible Vette Like my Pops had (his '74). I am more than happy with my 2014 3LT M7 Vert with 6k miles on the clock. Could I use a few more ponies ...sure ! But like others have noted it can get me down the street pretty fast. I have done a few cosmetic mods and a few performance mods too which makes me love her even more. I've looked a few times to grab a Z06 but I haven't ever found the right one. Until that day comes I'll sit here and wait for the weather to break and stare at the car in the garage. Enjoy the day my friends.

Actually, that's how I got mine. I picked up a CPO, 2014 coupe at the beginning of 2016 with only 4200 miles on it.
I gotta get new pics. This is the pic I took the day after I bought it.
BTW, I'm satisfied, I have to be. My son is getting my old, trusty Highlander so my wife and I are shopping for a new SUV. That's where all our car money is going.

Your car is really nice SS427. And that's a really nice color C5North. What's it called? I owned a '66 vert (327/Muncie 4-speed) many years ago (1975), but too young and dumb to appreciate what I had. I banged up the front end badly and sold it broken. Bought my 2016 C7 ZO6 M7 as the 17s were coming out. Was a show floor car (black, not my first choice) and was aggressively priced. Doesn't have all the bells/whistles, but is a mighty fine car. Does have NPP/Nav/HUD. I sold a 2014 Camaro SS 1LE for it. No regrets, no upgrade planned.

I occasionally get the urge to try another color, usually after viewing some of the other gorgeous color/interior combos on this forum. . Nothing wrong with the Blade Silver over Titanium Gray I now have. Just the basic itch to try something different. But equipment wise, I'd opt for what I currently have. An A8 3LT Stingray coupe with CHROME wheels. Love, love, love everything about the car!

I wish I didn't want more....but I always do. I have a 2014 Z51 3LT 7M and i really like it but always thinking about the Z06 and the GT-R. It's just not in the cards to switch.

C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
Don't chase the latest and greatest! Do modifications to your existing and be Happy!
I bought my 2014 Z51 2LT with 2500 miles and now have 5005 miles. The good price was 25k below 75k Sticker and I put $15k down and it allowed me to put about $6,535k in personalised mods to my taste.
I love my car with the Mods I've made and outside of the wide body of the GS, it would in "my mind" be fiscally irresponsible to go into debt to get essentially the same car for how I drive the car. I don't track but I do understand that my Z51 would perform just as well as GS 0-60, 1/4mi, lap times etc if you had two professional drivers.
Bottom line "I" would need to spend $$$ to mod up a base GS 1LT and a GS 2LT or 3LT adds initial financing cost for what? I'm a fiscal conservative and don't believe in pouring a ton of money into depreciating assets that lose value and I've learn to be satisfied and disciplined. Cars depreciate somewhere around 15-25% annually and even more when newer models come out. An 80k car with 1000 miles and you try to sell you might get 65k, I don't like that math.
If I wanted to change every time the next new model comes out then it's like being on a hamster wheel or revolving cycle of debt unless you are a cash and carry person. I learn to be satisfied, not keep up with jones and not making emotional or irrational regrettable decisions that once the initial excitement goes away, one become depressed when the high car note and interest rates fees being paid on depreciating assets and the pressure on ones finances and budgets.
If you just have a lot of disposable income where you don't have to count your pennies then one can do as they please and it's a wonderful place to be. The luxury of being financially stable and don't mind losing money or jumping out to the next best thing it's nothing wrong that that. Those who don't have that luxury might consider doing little mods to the car like I do that makes love the car as I did from day 1. It's like a marriage and keep adding variety and spice and be content! LOL

Love my 2014 z51
I attended the C7 Reveal in Detroit with a group from the National Corvette Museum in January 2013. I fell in love with the car, went home and ordered a Z51 with the 3LT interior, 7M transmission and suede inserts. I've had the car for 3.5 years now, and I love it as much as the day I picked it up at the Museum. I changed the exhaust (to the B & B), installed the hood stinger, 2015 "D" steering wheel, Z06 grill, Z06 style side rocker covers and did paint correction. The car has 15,000 miles on it and I have NO INTEREST in replacing it. The only things the 2017 has that I would like are the front camera and the greater number of adjustments to the instrument panel.
I bought a second home in Southern California and wouldn't mind having an automatic when I'm there, but I am totally unimpressed with the 8 speed automatic. I won't be tempted until the ten speed from the ZL1 is available. This is my TWELFTH Corvette, and it is BY FAR the best yet!
SORRY ABOUT THE UPSIDE DOWN PHOTOS! They showed right side up in my photo album
