Default Another splittler and sideskirts install

Z06 Stage 1 "poverty" splitter painted in Carbon Flash, and ACS Zero1 rockers in Carbon Flash. I installed both using the manufacturer recommended methods of reusing factory bolts + drilling holes for rivets. I had never used rivets in the past so I went to Harbor Freight and got a pretty decent hand riveter that worked well for less than $5! Both the splitter and the sideskirts included the needed rivets, which required drilling 3/16" holes (~10 for the splitter, ~30 for the sideskirts). I was a bit nervous having never used rivets in the past, plus having to drill a bunch of holes in the car, but the process could not have gone smoother and was quite easy once I got rolling! The factory bolts being reused worked well at holding the components in place making it very easy to know exactly where to drill. I did both jobs solo with 2 jacks + 2 jackstands.

On to some pics...

Thank you! I am very happy with how all the Carbon Flash parts have come together (Z06 grille, badges, wheel center caps, etc.).

Thanks for sharing your installation experience. You helped me make up my mind on the ACS Zero1 side skirts. They look great in carbon flash. Did you paint them yourself or have ACS do it?

I did their optional Carbon Flash. The paint quality seems nice and I haven't found any visible flaws in it yet.

Nice! Did you need to remove the little plastic flaps in front of the tires? I ask because somehow I managed to break the plastic undertray and rip the passenger side off, so I took the drivers side off as well. I'm guessing since you riveted it, that it doesn't matter if 2 screw holes are missing.

The air dams can stay in place, but 1 of the 3 bolts is used to secure the splitter (I highly doubt 1 missing bolt will make a bit of difference though).
