Default Registered for Spring Mountain

I completed my registration for the Corvette driving school at Spring Mountain. Going April 26/27. I found out they only have three GS M7's at the school so If you drive one of those register early.

I hope to see a few of you there. I can't wait

I went last fall. Great experience. You will enjoy every minute. Lots of track time. Be sure to go to the winery for dinner, reservations recommended, if you go early for dinner, no problem getting in.

If you like Thai food go to My Thai. It's awesome.

I guess I registered early - I had no trouble getting an M7.

Yeah - I may have to go back it was so much fun.

I did it back in November, two days at Spring MTB and the rest of the week at SEMA. Talk about a great trip!
They will offer to sell you some professional taken photoa after, little expensive but well worth it. Here is one of me. I also drove a M7, I remember the lady saying oh good we have plenty of those. lol.
Also here is a link from a couple laps with the PDR, remember to bring a SD card or you can buy one at the gift shop.

I enjoyed that restaurant too. I'm a steak snob and they have a tasty 8oz fillet. Even went back with the gf a couple months later as I was in Vegas and decided to road trip to Pahrump for a night. The tiki bar at Spring Mtn is a fun place to have a couple beers too. We rented at paddle boat and took some beers around their little mini lake. It's like a 4 acre swimming pool...

I just came back from the class and it was an amazing experience. Bring an SD card so you can record your track laps. Dont forget sun glasses.

Was there an additional charge for the GS?

The trip is not complete without a stop at The Chicken Ranch and Red Apple Fireworks. As I remember I also did pretty good at the Nugget casino.

You drive the same as what you own. Unless you dont own a c7 you pay accordingly.

Thanks. Have a GS. Woman who answered the phone originally said $1000 was for Stingray. She later clarified same price for all models.

^I agree^ I just booked for a GS, same price as a Stingray. However, the deductible is $10,000 for the GS and you can't buy down the deductible.

If you have a Stingray pay the $200 for the $2000 deductible and go for it. Otherwise I did see some conservative driving because people were scared of wiping the car. They keep a real close leash on you, and if you do what they say you're in no danger of hurting a car. You would really have to do something way stupid to hurt one.

If you've never had any track experience (like me) the only thing I would try to do is to beg an instructor ride on the first day. Once I rode with an instructor on the second day you realize you are driving a long ways from sliding off the track, despite what your brain is telling you.
