Funny, I was at the dealer's for service on my truck and bought the new C7. When I got home the wife asked how much the repairs on the truck cost and I said $78,000. She flipped and asked how it could cost that much and I told her, flipped out again. Oh well, don't sweat the little things I guess. Now she fights to see who will drive it. May have to get another.

Congrats!!!! Beautiful C7. On my screen it looks very orange and I like it. But I'm sure it's TR, and I really like that color. I'll be you can't wait!!
BTW, lots of us kind of live on the edge. Reminds me of 2002 when my son and I took my wife's car to the GMC dealer for service. There was a Ford dealer next door with a couple of new Lightning's. I told my son, 'while we're waiting let's go next door and test drive a Lightning'. While we were test driving it, we got lined up next to a current series Corvette at a light. We beat the vette and I told my son I was going to buy it. Called my wife from the Ford dealer and told her we'd be a bit late. She asked why and I told her 'I just bought us a Lightning'. She asked 'what's that?'. Done stuff like that more than once. We're still happily married. I'm a lucky boy.

I did kind of did the same thing. I found my Vette optioned exactly the way I wanted in Alabama. I called the dealer and put down a deposit. I then called my wife and told her I bought a new Vette, and that she needs to drop me off at the airport the next morning so I can pick it up. Wife definitely wasn't happy about it, but it didn't take long for her to get over it.

I've been waiting, waiting Done! Just took advantage of MacMulkins 14% off on 2017 G/S. Now I kinda know how the wife felt when she told me we are going to have baby. This time it was my turn! First corvette in the family. I'm thinking cigars when it arrives. Looking forward to many more firsts with the new addition.

looks great RedHat---bet you're gonna love it! A quick one--I stopped by a car lot about 20 years ago, a salesman made me a great deal on a Lincoln & I impulsively traded on the spot. Brought it home & the old lady hated it---took it back later that evening and reneged on the deal
