I do understand how it might make some uncomfortable, if they are not used to using the mirrors in that way.

Same here... never had an issue with supposed 'blind spots'. If your mirrors and seat are adjusted properly, its just not an issue, regardless of B/C pillar width.

Safety Car
First, a disclaimer. I have owned Callaway and Lingenfelter built cars and am the current owner of a '16 Z06 with a Callaway SC757 package that is without a doubt the hottest thing I have ever driven. With that said, I think I can be an honest broker on the AeroWagen.
My primary thought about this is "Who/What is the intended audience for this?" It is a somewhat pricey modification unless there happens to be some practical advantage to it. Yes, it does provide more storage under the roof but the gain is minimal when compared to the cost of the top on a baseline Stingray. And yes, its novelty factor would surely generate some interest at "Cars and Coffee" gatherings but not enough to convince me to purchase it at this time.
One of the things that would probably improve everyone's ideas for/against this new top would be some wind tunnel tests against a C7 Coupe. Show us definitive proof that the AeroWagen is no worse than a Z06 with Aero Package 3 or better yet has a lower CD and it might garner more interest.
Also, if the AeroWagen has a lower CD then performance at an event such as the Texas Mile would tend to prove its efficacy. If it permits an otherwise stock Corvette to improve its top end then that would be a good sales point.

One thing that might look better is if it had a bit of the bubble from the targa roof continue to the back.

I like it. Way beyond my budget, but the design is well integrated for the Shooting Brake genre, especially considering it was created post release and goes on without modding any of the OE panels.
Since it is strictly bolt-on, can't see how it would negatively affect resale. If you think so, just bolt your stock hatch back on pre-sale.
Hey Calloway, if you send me one in Torch Red, I'll bolt it on and drive around Vegas!

I would really like to see it with the hatch open. Do the standard struts work with the added weight?
Do I get to keep the standard hatch?
I like to take long trips - how much extra cargo area?
I saw a picture a few months ago, and top was body color - the red one looks like it has a window, or a black square. Which is it?

But in either case, this is for the guy who is a "mod hobbyist," I think, something that he won't see on many other C7s, if any. It does recall the C3 kammback (or whatever they called it) that someone posted a photo of in white back up the thread. However, if it's a true bolt-on it's not going to compromise value of the car since it always can be changed back.

It's lighter than the standard hatch. I'll work on the actual numbers. And the rest of your questions for specifics. But yes, it's avail. to install, and you can retain the o.e. hatch. And go back to original, if you like.
Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler is also included
