Burning Brakes
^^^ It wasn't confirmed as "official" but sounds like there's a good chance.

GM Sh*t the bed by not showing at Detroit. GM being GM. Not a lot of great reveals this year there, and it would have stole the show. Also, it is their hometown (GM) isn't it? At this point, I will believe it when I see it, not getting duped again. Show it, don't show it, you passed up a great opportunity with press from around the world, although Daytona will get coverage, lots of free coverage was passed up by not showing in Detroit. Just like GM to make a great product and then suck at marketing it... Just how bad are those Chevy commercials with the cheesy 'these are not actors' and their fake astonishment and goofy looks of wonder...
When they show it, they show it... Geneva, Daytona, the bash, everyone has a theory, we will see... GM's product is getting better, their marketing - sucks canal water... Just one man's opinion

Guys, it is pretty simple. Look at the current level of C7 inventory. They need to get a lot of cars sold before they reveal the latest and greatest...

No doubt about it that GM needs to hire some of the CF members to run their marketing Department.

I agree that GM knows they need to sell some of what's on the lots already before they reveal the ZR1. You will instantly have people waiting for the ZR1, not buying the current models.

Since the C7 has been such a failure, many long time Corvette owners like me are about to jump ship to Porsche, which would have been unthinkable to me in 2013.
