Color combo question from/for a friend
Seeing as how I am color blind -ever see orange grass? I do, all the time-, a friend came across a used 2016 Z06 convertible, black with kalahari top/insides, comp seats, 2LZ. He wanted my advice on the combo. He showed me a couple of images that he printed on a laser printer and the combo does not look that great, to me... So, I told him I would ask the collective.
Anyone care to comment?
Update...
He sent me a photo.

Black with a kalahari top is absolutely my LEAST favorite color combo. Personally, I would never own it.

I've seen it in real life, and it looked stunning.
Keep in mind this was at a dealer (three years ago), so I can only imagine how it would look after a few years of driving.

I can see how some people might like it but personally I do not like it. Taste is too subjective to attempt to quantify.

This is totally subjective but I would not want to draw attention to the material top.

A black Vette with Kalahari interior to me is one of my all-time favorite combinations. However, after years of convertibles, I tend to shy away from tops that are not black. Black is way more forgiving of dust, road spray, etc. I also think it is less likely to fade with sun exposure. But like the look when new. I had a brown top on my Audi S5--with care it looked really nice at the 5 year mark.

Thanks, interesting take on a convertible top. I never thought of it.

Agree this picture looks much better. I have always had T tops or Targa tops my concern would be with light rag top would there be lines in fabric were top frame runs against light colored fabric over the years.
