Like many here, I'm a Motorsports fan. It's Carbon Fiber's extensive, longtime use in Motorsports that appeals to me. Plus, I like the look and can appreciate the finish quality. Having this material in/on the car, even for aesthetic purposes only, provides that special link to Motorsports. I agree, however, that prices for exposed-finish-quality Carbon Fiber options are insane considering their purpose.

i love the look. having said that my eye popped out of my head when i saw that GM charged $995 for the exposed CF Dash lol.. The roof is gorgeous, the hood a close second.
I forget the member's name who has the exposed everything on his GS but that is gorgeous. It's just like jewelry. beauty in the eye of beholder imo.
