Factory full dual stripes
Hello Everyone, I am throwing out a question about the factory stripes. I have a 2016 Laguna Blue convertible with the silver factory silver stripes and I have had problem since day one. It has been repaired three times at the Chevrolet dealership and it is lifting in the corners of the hood vent area radius and the third brake light area in the center of the lightside of the light. Each time it is the same areas. I was wondering if there has been any other similar problems out there or is this a isolated problem. I took it back this morning for them to check it out again.
Thank you for nay help in this matter.

Mine aren't folded over cleanly behind the front clip and at the hood louver. I plan on taking it in in the Spring and having them fixed and/or replaced. Looks like they just stuffed the rest behind those spots. Hideous

Hard to see but are they folding the stripes under and around the ends. I had a Jake installed on the hood and they removed the hood vent so they could tuck it under and wrap it around both vent and top if hood.
Also, did they just slice/cut it at the ends? If that is the way they want to do it, maybe have them or you paint the ends with "Clear Coat".. I did that with a pin stripe that I installed to avoid lifting on the ends and it worked great!.. You can get Clear Coat in any auto parts store and it has a built in brush..

Why GM doesn't paint these stripes is beyond me. Pay $75k and get stick on stripes? Crazy. Hope you can get yours fixed to your satisfaction.

The car has never been in car wash, always parked in garage, no rub out machines and only 1700 miles on it. Bought new and when delivered at purchase date it was lifted from the factory on the third brake light area. Dealer replaced the defective stripes in the affected areas twice now, with the third being noted again today.

That's pretty bad. Hope they can get it finally fixed for you.
