C7 questions
Alright so it might be time for the next corvette. I drove a 2014 2lt manual today. The car has only 8800 miles and is in 9/10 condition. That being said I have a couple of questions. 1st thing I noticed was the idle. I felt a good amount of motor movement when sitting still. Is this the case with all the c7's? Second question I have is pricing. The dealer is giving me a lot more money than I expected to get for my current vehicle which is nice, but i still don't want to overpay for the next car.
2014 Silver ext black int 2lt
Non z51
Single painted top
Manual transmission
Nav
Heads up display ext
Price after negotiation 47,400
What do you guys think? How much would you pay realistically?

All C7s have a bit of a rough idle. The price is a bit high on the one you are looking at but depending on the offer they gave you for your trade it could still be a good deal.

Thing is that there have been new 2016 non Z51's 1LT's advertised for 48K recently at some of the big east coast dealers. Look around....you can probably do better. Or the dealer is asking more due to your trade.

Too many variables to determine if it's a good deal...What did they offer for your trade-in and what do you think your trade in is worth?
For example, if they want 47,400 for the C7 and they are offering you $10,000 more for your trade-in than what you think it is worth, then I would say it's a heck of a deal, because now it's like they only want 37,400 for the C7. If they only offered you $2000 more for the trade-in than what is worth, might not be a good deal.
