So title kinda says it all. Bought my Z51 loaded in june for 60k and was wanting to trade it in towards this awesome priced Z06 for 72.5k and are saying my Vett is basically worth nothing and offered me 45k. How do you guys feel about this?

If they are offering a major discount on the new Z06 they can't give you retail on your used Z51. Sell your Z51 outright if you think you can get more which you will, and just buy the Z06 from them. Done!

I got an initial offer of 47K for my 2014 3LT Callaway with 10K miles. I said forget it and decided to keep the car and just mod the exterior.

Dealers will usually give you the auction price of just about any vehicle. That way they can dump the car if they need to and not get screwed. $45k gives you a very low estimate of the true value of your car. If you bought it for $60k in June then anyone else can buy the same car brand new for around the same price. $50-55k is probably a good range.

I would guess that you will take a hit because the '16 Zs are heavily discounted. You have to also figure the sales tax savings too, but it still seems pretty low.

I have a 2014 conv 3lt with every add on that can come on it. Went and look at a 3lt 2017 conv z06 Giving me a ok price off sticker, But also offered me 52,900.00 for my trade it has 9,k miles on it now. I don't know what to do here on it.

That price is an insult. I would keep shopping or sell it private party.

It boils down to want and need or you should have bought the ZO6 in the first place and saved some money on depreciation. I would wait to see what improvements the 2017 ZO6
will have and then decide what to do. At least it will not be a year old C7.

well I just NADA my '14 2LT Z51 with 31,000 miles and MRC (the only option that was an add except for glass roof and NAV) and it booked for 50k USD which is pretty darn good considering I paid 77 CDN for it almost 3 years ago.

Sounds about right for dealer trade. Check CarMax too. They might be a little higher.

Tell the dealer to take a sh%t and sell it yourself for at least $10k more, assuming you have less than about 5k miles. You have to deduct for miles if higher.

So lets see used less left on warranty

You refer to a no options 1LT. OP can confirm but he probably has more options and 3LT or 2LT.
NO ONE is getting a low miles 2016 2\3LT Z51 with options for mid-upper $40s. Not gonna happen. If anyone thinks they can get one for that price they are dreaming.

I just bought my Z51 (1Lt1) for $53k so yeah, sounds good to me once you factor in that a dealer will always give you less than a private sale. Maybe a shade low, but hardly shocking. Just enjoy your car

private sell it, then buy the zo6 if you want it. but if you don't want to, take it to another dealership and see what they offer you, you can always have that dealership get the z06 for you and not bother with that dealership at all. good luck.
