For the unforeseen future, yes, the Porsche flirt is over. I have to say though, Porsche sure makes one heck of a car (refined, well put together, no problems 46k miles and everything looked and worked as new after 3 years). We came close to another Porsche but frankly, they are overpriced both initial cost and routine maintenance. While we can afford anything in the Porsche lineup, we felt the money was well spent on a bad azz, American made, Corvette (this is Vette #3 for us).

Point to note, the Porsche barely drew any eyes while our GS Vette has everyone looking in a good way, including other Vette drivers.

Similar problem here. My iPod worked perfectly in my 2014 C7. When I upgraded my infotainment system to the OEM 2016, the same iPod no longer works properly when connected to the car's USB.

The 2016 infotainment is much better overall. It plays music from my iPhone just fine. I just wish it could also play my iPod. Anybody else experience this? Or found a fix?

Keep us posted how you like it. Your C6 Grand Sport was a good inspiration for me to get mine a few years ago, I'm now watching the C7's

The 32GB slower USB SanDisk drive worked just fine. The 128 USB SanDisk 130MB/sec was not compatible, go figure.

As promised, better quality pics of my new 2017 GS Corvette. Luvin it so far!! The white is a bright white but the late afternoon tropical sun made it seem like an off white.

So we kept hearing this low pitch thumping type of rattle coming from the rear of the car over certain road surfaces. My husband figured it out... the black foam thing under the passenger side rear floor mat / deck lid moves around. My hubby put a small velcro to hold it in place. Resolved.

Not sure what the purpose of that foamy thing is, but it has an impression in it as if to hold something but our GS has nothing there. What is supposed to go there?? Anyone?
