I think I have decided to go with a GS. I am a first time Corvette buyer (shopper at the moment). I look forward to seeing your pics....different lighting and times of day for your pics would be helpful to me.

So how many Corvettes does this one make for you Harvey?

Are you up to a 100 yet.

If you look at the recent KERBECK post, offering 20-22k off 16 Z06s, might make them cheaper than a comparably equipped GS.

No offense to the OP i bet it is one hell of a car, but yeah, 100k for a GS is a bit much when a Z06 could be had for less money. Though i realize not everyone needs 650hp but you will probably get offered 80k in 6 months when you trade it in.

The concept of a $100K Corvette without the most powerful engine in the line-up just makes no sense to me.
After all, it wasn't too many years ago that the concept of a $100K Corvette didn't even exist...

But, kudos to GM for their marketing savvy...

Default Grand Sport Price over th top..

I have some photos --having trouble as usual posting--if some one sends his E-Mail to me will forward them on.
By the way my premis of the Post was just to show that you can order a 6 figure Grand Sport-- was not trying to brag and I got a great discount from a great Dealership Atlantic Chevrolet-Cadillac...Somebody also asked its # 73 and my chances of making a 100 are slim and none based on age.....Harvey

$100,000 price is out off my league. I will just purchase another C7 Stingray Convertible. Base convertible; M7, 2LT, navigation/PDR = MSRP - about $67,000. Wish navigation came without the PDR like it did on my 2014. Like having to pay a $1,000 tax on the navigation option.

I will say though, GM did somewhat of the same thing with the C6 Z06 w/ Z07 package (great car and my favorite C6). I'm pretty sure it was possible to get that car over $100k and of course the ZR1 was out at that time.

The car will never sell for to return 80k. Forget that!

Kudos to Harvey! If you have the money and love to buy new cars, go for it. I also love to buy cars but money is an issue so I do a lot of dreaming instead. Bought my first Corvette at 65 when I retired for the second time, debt free, kids employed and out of the house.

I think it's SO nice how concerned CERTAIN posters are about how HTG spends HIS money. The man has had 73 Corvettes....pretty certain he knows MORE about buying and selling Corvettes than ANYONE on this forum.
Some of you guys are unbelievable.

PS. Can't wait to see the pics, Harvey

PSS. Maybe they're jealous that they don't get Christmas cards from Dave M., Dave H., and Tadge!
