9-10% off MSRP is a good deal. Anything less sucks. Walk and buy from MacMulkin or Kerbeck.

That does change the picture, I guess with that added fact I would be a buyer.

For something as hot as a new grand sport, lots of areas in the country are going to be closer to sticker.

If you can buy from the big dealers, they're pushing volume and will go deeper on their discount.

The one word of caution I would give is that several dealers have document fees or other dealer fees. 4500 off and then 500+ in dealer fees isn't really 4500 off. I recommend that you always compare the 'out-the-door' price. Let the dealership move numbers around all they want but the bottom line should be your bargaining number.

It's also important to note what State and Local taxes you might have if you buy from out of state. Several states charge sales tax based on the price difference of your purchase and trade-in, while other states are going to charge tax on the entire purchase price.

Happy shopping!

Lotta talk about all the high % off MSRP discounting, but not actually seeing it. I'm seeing 8% tops, but not higher. Please tell where and by whom. PM if you prefer. Thanks

Mine out here in Calif MSRP 88 and change down to 82 and change. I figured if ordered from east coast it would have been another 13-1500 to ship. My order went in 19 Jul and has a TPW 8 Aug !!!im happy with that

You could have done a courtesy delivery and not needed to pay to ship the car across the country.

Anyone who believes a car dealer's BS that the GS is new and hot so they aren't discounting them as much, is a moron.

Don't get roped into this crap.

Believe it or not, some folks prefer N/A and not an FI engine, especially one that over heats after a few laps on the track.

Very true...one local Chevy dealer had a $899 dealer fee...is that ridiculous or what? The Porsche dealer had only a $699 dealer fee & told me it's for cutting the grass and sweeping the floors of the dealership...what BS. It's just added profit.
