Try sliding to the right a couple of inches. The natural seating position relative to the steering column and pedals biases me to the left in the seat. This puts pressure on my left leg. Sliding over centers me in the seat and resolves the issue.

If this doesn't work for you, have a trim shop modify the left bolster by drilling holes in the foam. This is soften it up making it more comfortable.

I have yet to open it all the way up...I'm still under 1,000 miles...but from everything I've read here and elsewhere, I know it's gonna be good.

I'm somewhat surprised at the number of compliments I've gotten from people of all ages...men, women, children...one teenager leaned out of his car taking a video as I drove by.

Love this car. Once I figure out how to alleviate the pressure from the bolsters on the seat portion under my left thigh, it'll be my perfect car.

Life is good...

I agree, I'm not a big guy either but that dam thing sticks my right side - use a soft towell to avoid. My other problem? my 2-year old Corgi starting to shed up a storm!!

Well.... never mind. That's not surprising.

Yep! Normal with DI.

What's surprising to me, more so everyday, is how many new foo-foos the car has every MY.

Why have a beep? I mean the car knows it is turned off, the door was opened and the car is not moving. Just have the software apply the e-brake then. If you really need to have the e-brake turned off when the car is off and not running simply lift up on it. I can't understand why they didn't do that.

That and, did you know, if you don't set the e-brake and get out of the car the car will put the seat into the exit position. However, when you get back in and start 'er up, it will not move to the memory seat #1 position! Dumb.

Staggeringly dumb.

That was my only complaint as well. However, with time and a little tweaking on the seat position, the bolster seemed to soften up a bit and doesn't bother me anymore. Hopefully, that will be the case for you too.

The harder I push my A8 base coupe into challenging corners on roads I was familiar with in my '08 Z51 MN6, the more it digs in and the faster I can go! Phenomenal that it outperforms what I had previously considered the best handling Vette I've owned.

Mine puts the seat into exit position when I turn off the car, regardless if I set the e-brake or not.

Well not to add to the issue of overheating but my 2016 Z06 must be pretty warm in the engine compartment as this is the 1st car I have had that when you shut if off there is never a small pool of water on the ground from the air conditioning condensation.

That's because of the cleverly placed drip point on the hot exhaust.

I don't use the nav in this car because iPhone w/ Waze is a superior navigator around traffic gridlock for the quickest route. Thus, for months I never had the nav display up on my screen.

However, lately I've been putting on the map display without guidance. It still shows traffic and points of interest w/o telling me where to go.

In the spirit of this thread, I was surprised to see that when you're in a big city like Washington, DC, the 3D map shows nice images of all the buildings. It's pretty cool to be driving down Independence Avenue, with a picture of the Washington Monument, National Mall, Smithsonian, and the US Capitol, etc. on your infotainment screen.

I know! I was pretty surprised to hear that sizzle under the hood when I first parked my new C7 in my garage. Glad to know others get to experience this too!

What suprised me is that I am literally sitting on a trampoline!
My drivers seat cushion bounces me on the smallest bump..

I'm going to ask for a replacement.. My butt is in a constant springy up/down motion on every drive.. So bad I think about it & re-position every time I get in...
This is not normal!

Anyone else have this?

Sounds like something is wrong with the seat. Mine is as solid as can be. Is the passenger seat springy too? BTW I'm 142 LBS. (lean and mean)

Wifey hasn't said anything..
Drivers seat "feels" fine just sitting on it, but once I go for a drive, every slight bump, my butt feels like its springing.. Weird feeling, but I know its not right. Felt the seat cushion, seems OK, but when driving its like I'm sitting on a trampoline... Thats the best way I can describe it.

Hopefully dealer will replace the cushion on my request..
