For the past seven years a bunch of friends have participated in an annual 4th of July Parade in Munds Park, AZ. It is a hoot. All of our Corvettes draw a huge crowd response. Makes me proud when I hear the cheering from hundreds of people when I'm driving my Corvette.
Anyway, this year. Young guys driving what I believe to be a Mercedes AMG C63, are looking for their place in line. They pass the yellow C7.R, and I hear one of them saying... "Sh*t, we aren't the fastest car here. There is a Z06!"
I looked around... The other three Z51's would give them a run for the money. At little more than half the price.
Our Corvette Club of Kansas City participates in the Lenexa, Kansas 4th of July parade every year.
My wife and I were in the parade for the 2nd year in a row. I had some lady yell to our Corvettes, "Great, spend all your money on your TOYS, and leave nothing for your kids."
I was so befuddled by that, I couldn't even come up with a witty, quick response.......

My grandsons are fine with me owning a Corvette as long as I leave it to them in my will.
