The fact that I had a doctors visit on record helped me with her insurance company 2 years later.

Wow, sorry to hear about your accident. That's sickening to look at those photo's. If the only damage is to the front and rear fascia sections and hood, repair costs shouldn't be too bad.

I had a much smaller accident with my 2013 convertible and I found the Lizard pretty good with the claim. Now make sure you get a luxury class rental out of them also. Make sure you tell the Lizard you EXPECT depreciated value and it wouldn't hurt to go to the Dr. with some neck and back pain!
Attached is a PIC of my C5 after my buddy ran it off the road 2 years ago.
What you see
is the worst of it. I don't think there was frame damage. Amica TOTALED the car.
Good luck.

Why bother just buy a Honda
If the frame is bent, they will total the car; otherwise, $30K worth of damage will be repaired. Your car is new so you should be able to get a diminished value settlement, so push for that. Since it will be a 6 week repair, check in frequently to both let them know you are on top of the problem and nothing will get past you.
Sorry for the damage to your baby. It really sucks.

and they haven't even gotten to the front. Been in the Body Shop Since 6/29/2016.
Forget Geico, forget GM, forget Florida state insurance commission, Hire a lawyer and give him anything he/she wants just for the opportunity to publish the madness that is now going on in this car industry. Buy a Honda get into an accident then just throw it anyway and buy another.

nice work for being in the shop for 42 days. And the front hasn't even been touched.

Hate to have to say it, but...
GET A LAWYER! Do not try to go it on your own. The lawyer will get a % and that gives him/her an incentive to maximize your outcome. And don't feel guilty about it, you're a victim here, and you have every right to seek damages. And once again, DONT FORGET A DIMINISHED VALUE CLAIM!
Good Luck.

sorry to here and see your pics. I've got a similar thread on here called "why me". I was in an accident last Sat when a girl hit me in the back when I was stopped at a red light. Shop said tub damage and everything is currently gutted like yours. Pics are on my thread. I was told 3-4 weeks for finished car. I already got an outside adjuster who specializes in diminished value claims. He said Geico will prob only offer me 3-5K if that, he said he will go after 25K and will take it to court and hopefully they will meet in the middle. I want the car l, I want the car fixed to the way it was before accident, but fact of the matter is...it will never be the same to me and alway carry bad car fax. I'm hoping to trade the 15' on on a 16' and use the diminished value to make up 90% of the difference. Check out my thread and PM me if you have any questions man. Here to help if I can since we are in the same boat.

Years ago, my wife was the middle car of a three car accident, like with the OP.
She said she wasn't hurt and didn't go to the doctor to get checked out. I settled with the guys insurance company on the car but held out for about 6 months before signing off on bodily injury.
Well, she did in fact have whiplash and it was around 4-5 years later when she really started to have bad neck and shoulder pain. To late then to go after the guys insurance company.
I wish that my wife had gone to the doctor within several days of the accident as he might have seen something.
