Default Question: Do you wash your car after driving it?

Even on a sunny (dry) day after a long day trip the car collects road dirt and dust. So I'm curious, do you wash your car after taking a day trip?

PLEASE NOTE: this question is directed to my fellow C7 owners who do NOT use their Stingray as a daily driver.

Touching your car a lot, even with quick detailer, is a bad move. I rinseless wash mine about every 10 days. A good sealant makes stuff fly off the car and it stays clean.

I only wash my car if it actually gets dirty - we mostly have pollen and light dust; but I rinse my car thoroughly (and dry it) after every day I use it before putting it away for the night.

For the most part, yes.. I may not turn the hose on it everytime, but I'll use spray detailer.

Adams Detailing Polish takes care of any dust and/or bugs. I use it after each drive...even works great on the windshield/windows. Great stuff!!!

It's a good idea to use a quick detailer on your car every day or two. The longer you leave road grime on the paint (it's there even if you don't see it), the more likely it is you'll need to clay bar to remove it.

No. Sometimes it will sit for days till I clean the bugs etc. I used the car this past weekend and have not even looked at it since parked in the garage yesterday.

I've had mine for 3 months and I've only had it washed twice. It's kept in a garage and only driven on weekends.

Hand wash the car
Nano skin the car with a nano skin glove
Polish the car with prep polish
Apply a coating of nano ceramic coating

Then you can drive for car for several days or weeks and just wash the C7 by hand.

The dirt won't stick and washing and drying with waffle weave towels is so easy.

If you don't want to apply a coat of nano ceramic paint coating, then dry Blackfire Polish and Seal all in one application.

You will not be sorry you did this.

I use Chadwick's Triple Play after most drives.

Exactly. Friction is friction. If you haven't driven it in the rain (and after 15K miles I still haven't been caught in the rain), and garage it at night, then you don't need to wash it often. I wash mine about once per month.

No.

Didn't let the Dealership wash it when it
was delivered; I haven't washed it since
I drove it off their lot 14 months ago.

I clean mine every time. But brake dust is bad.
