Well, this is my 2,000th post, so I thought it would be a good time to show my new C7 that was built today (not an actual photo). Also, I started this thread, and I am amazed at how popular Watkins Glen Gray is! My car is a 2LT BASE COUPE, A8, PDR/NAV, DUAL CARBON FLASH RACING STRIPES, BATTERY PROTECTION, AND MUSEUM DELIVERY.
My C7 WGG, 7M, was built 7/22 and arrived at dealer 8/11 in L.A. Made plane reservations 2 weeks ago anticipating expected delivery on 8/15. Now I need to wait until next Saturday to fly down and drive it home. Everyone seems to have their unique stories about acquiring their car.
Ok.. so its not a Vette.. but I had to see the color for myself. This is the 'alleged' equivalent, Nightfall Gray Metallic'. The sky was a bit overcast, not bright sun.. I will say if this is truly the same color as WGG.. it is darker than I expected. In the light I had today, there was an odd greenish flavor to the gray, but that's probably me lol. From certain angles the color can appear black. Then when you look at the body the panels closer to a perpendicular angle the gray comes out. I just wish it was full sun out.. I'll have to go back or wait til our slow dealers get a real WGG 2017.

Not the best photo because taken at dusk. My dealers WGG Grand Sport with my Cyber Gray in the background. I would say the WGG is slightly darker with more silver metallic flake. Hard to tell from the available light. Dealership was closed. Color will not disappoint!
I couldn't wait for mine to come in. Had to take a run to my dealer to see the 1st WGG GS he just got in.

I sold my 2014 Cyber Grey about a month ago in anticipation and I am DEFINITELY NOT DISSAPOINTED.. Slightly darker grey without the blue flake and a LOT MORE SILVER FLAKE ! ( RAIDERS 👍🏻 ) I should have mine in after we get back from Green Bay!!!

Red calipers was enough red on the outside with red stitching on black for the interior for me.
Of course, everyone has different likes and dislikes. Which ever way you get it, ITS AWESOME 😄😄
Of course I am going to say the red hash marks and red calibers go perfect. On the way I have gotten so many compliments.
